I was prone to using liquid liner or pencil based liners. As a contact eyes lens wearer, my eyes get dry and at time itchy. I often find myself rubbing my eye, or re-adjusting the contact lens. With the Bobbi Brown long wear eye liner, it doesn't fade after 8-10hours of wear if you do not touch your eyes. It does not smudge into your crease like other liners. With the eye liner brush from Bobbi Brown, it gives you a smooth and mistake free application. I highly recommend! The colors are fantastic as well. I am currently loving Mauve and Black Ink.
