a bit too sweet for me

This ice cream has a vanilla base but contains caramel like syrup and small chunks of pie crust to mimic a classic butter tart. I like the innovation behind this idea and tasting it definitely reminds me of a butter tart. The caramel swirl is quite rich and has a strong caramel flavour. However, I do find the flavour is a bit too sweet for my liking. I would prefer a less sugar option, still same flavour, just less sugar. The vanilla base is very creamy and nice, not too overpowering. The pie crust like crumbs gives the ice cream a good texture and I enjoyed it. It is very cool that the flavour is inspired by Ontario! If there was a less sugar option, I would purchase again.

Our tastebuds took a roadtrip

Our family was extremely lucky havethe opportunity to review this super delicious blueberry dessert icecream. It is super yummy!! It scooped easily from the container. We can hardly wait for our next tasty road-trip. I think our next tastebud road-trip will be to BritishColumbia. I will be serving this yummy trip at our family bbq this weekend. I was chosen by #chickadvisor, #thisisbutterly and #breyerscanadiendesserts to try one of their ice creams for free.
I got the Breyers Canadian Desserts Butter Tart flavor to try and it was easy to find in the store. We all love ice cream and we love to try new flavors and brands. We all tried this new flavor for the first time and found it to be rich and creamy in texture and taste. Felt a little bit of caramel kind of taste in the ice cream which was nice. There are chunks of butter tarts in the ice cream which were not upto our liking. They are actual pieces of butter tart and did not taste like fresh tarts as they are in frozen form. Tasted kind of chalky similar to uncooked flour. My kids removed the bits of butter tart and enjoyed the rest of the ice cream happily. I'm not sure if I'll be buying this again since we are not huge butter tart fans. I'm happy that we got to try this new flavor though.

Oh Canada

Loaded with caramel drizzle and butter tart chunks throughout a smooth creamy velvety vanilla ice cream. Definitely tastes like you are eating a butter tart in ice cream form. Very sweet and indulgent in a good way. A good representation of a favorite Canadian treat.

Wow Delicious!!

I actually was unsure to try the Canadian Desserts Butter Tart as I didn’t know how they would transfer the taste of the desert! I am pleased to say they did it amazingly, wow what a taste and I love the chunks inside. This lasted maybe 3 hours in my house before it was all gone! What a great dessert which has become the family go to desert. I will definitely be buying more tomorrow morning!! Love it!!

Wow is all I can say! The butter tart ice-cream is delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. Would 100% purchase for the whole family again!

Can't get enough!

Butter tart OH MY GOSH is so delectable I can't even explain!! It taste like sweet butter tart center with flakes of crust and Its heaven on earth!! Just when you think they have done it all and it couldn't get better!

Séduite au premier regard, Je qualifierais la couleur de cette crème glacée de super appétissante avec ce tourbillon de caramel et ces morceaux de pâte a tarte.

Sa texture est onctueuse et soyeuse à souhait et que dire du goût de ce dessert luxueux, une explosion de joie accompagnée d'un ardent désire de se resservir de nouveau.

This was delicious. I would be more likely to purchase in the future if you started offering more vegan and plant-based options rather than more dairy options
