Yummy if you are a fish person

I grew up eating sardines with butter on toast and absolutely loved these sandwiches. As a parent, I feed the same thing to my kids. I absolutely love this brand of sardines because it literally melts in your mouth and the taste is absolutely delicious.

I took notice about a year ago that my 9 year old fur baby, whom is a German Shepard, her coat was loosing the shine, and the fur was a little rough. I spoke with my vet about the issue and she suggested giving her a few sardinces a couple of times a week.
To me, opening a can of sardines and hearing my dog and cats run because they hear the noise and wants their share makes me smile every time. :)
My dog is approx 80lbs and I give her maybe 3 sardines every couple of days, and the kitties get the rest of what is left over.
Since I have been doing this on a regular basis, my dogs fur is so soft, and she does not shed as much as she use to.
When these are on sale they are around $1 a container, and the ingredients are simple.... sardines & olive oil.

I've made my own ceasar salad dressing and use these. They blend up perfectly and you won't know they are in it.
