I bought this in Champagne and I really like it! I just wish it weren't so shimmery, then it would provide the perfect pale lip to pair with a smokey eye. I feel like i am back in third grade with all the shimmer it has in it, but i really like the color and the scent--its mint!! I do recommend this, but beware of shimmer!

For those who don't like the colour: wear a clear gloss over top and it perfects the colour...I had the same opinion until I tried this and now I can't live without it. I just use Aquafina gloss over top and it was a dollar at a dollarstore... However, on it's own, I agree, it doesn't work.

But with clear gloss it is more perfect than any gloss, in my opinion.

LOve these lip shimmers! I have tried the following colours:merlot,nutmeg, papaya,champagne,and love them all. All natural ingredienst with great moisturizers and lasting colours! Highly recommend these!

The colors look awful on me!

I think I'm hooked on Burt's Bees! I love the lip balm infused lipstick combination that I get with this product. If you are the kind of girl who likes a little bit of colour on her lips, but doesn't like wearing lipstick than this is for you. This product not only softens my lips very well (Burt's quality!) but also gives them a hint of colour, depending on how much I put on. I have a fear of brightly coloured lipstick, and this product gives gives just the right amount. For more colour like a real lipstick, adding more layers would do the trick. The only problem is that it won't stay put like most outlast lipsticks.

I happened to walk into a health food store one day and pick up this lip shimmer product in watermelon. It was a last resort since no other lip balm seemed to soothe my dry lips. Imagine my surprise after a string of unsuccessful products to have this not only soothe, but add a lovely pink sheen to my lips! And it's natural...and no animal testing YAY! It's a bit pricey so I've been searching around for better deals. No luck so far, but it's worth the $6.99 at london drugs; it lasts, it looks beautiful and there's a color for everyone's taste.

I've long been a fan of Bert's Bees lipbalm and have recently been trying the lip shimmers because I wanted to see how they'd compare to lipstick. They have the same cooling feeling as the lipbalm, but dispense the same amount of color as you'd get from any lipstick. I have the rhubarb one and today I picked up the Champagne color. I LOVE them both. In fact I'm not sure I'll be using my lipstick as often any more.

When I first bought the rhubarb one I put it on like a regular lip balm as I was walking through the mall. I thought it would only give off a hint of color so if I didn't apply it perfectly it wouldn't matter. How wrong I was! I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror at one of the stores and was horrified to see the clown staring back at me in the mirror. Luckily, it rubs of easily and I was able to reapply without any smeary residue. I love the rhubarb color. It's a deep dark pink with red undertones and it looks really nice with my pale skin. I use a little lip liner and I look the same as if I'm using one of my $20 lipsticks.

The champagne one is really nice too. It's a soft shimmery color and is perfect for every day. It's a little lighter than my lip pigment but with a little lipliner it looks fantastic. The best part about these lip shimmers is that they are 98% natural. Considering how many tubes of lipstick a woman will eat in her lifetime, I'd prefer it to be as natural as possible.

I highly recommend these.
