Adds a lovely shimmer to your lips

I love this brand's lip products. My lip shimmer in Peony is okay as it adds a lovely sparkle to the lips. The shade is light pink, and I used it out quickly. Because it is quite pricey, the value is not there. However, I love its ingredients list, moisturizing properties and the tingling sensation on the lips. Overall, I recommend that you try it if you prefer shimmering finishes.

nice alternative to lip-gloss

I like Burt's Bee products! Always great quality using natural products! Bee wax has always been an ingredient that works well for me. My skin is quite sensitive and my lips always dry. I like this product as it looks like a tinted lip-gloss once applied without all the chemicals. Bonus points for protecting and hydrating my lips! The only thing that bothers me is that my lips absorb quickly the product which leaves me with random patches of glitter.

Works good

Gives you a light tint to your lip colour while making your lips soft and kissable. It's easy to put on... I wish it was scented though it smells chalky to me

Not impressed this time, Burt's Bees

I usually quite enjoy Burt's Bees products but I was disappointed this time. While the price was good and there is definitely a nice selection of colours, I found the lip shimmer to dry my lips out really badly. Each time I tried to use it I would end up licking my lips endlessly to try and regain moisture, which only led to a loss of colour and a need to reapply and the cycle begins again!

Nice Tinted Lip Balm

This is a nice product. I do like that it's tinted and I like the tingly-mint feel on my lips. About average as far a lip balms go. I do buy it when I can get the set of 2 or 3 on sale for cheap. Handy to keep in my desk, purse, car, etc.

Burt's bees lip balm in Fig- above average

I recently bought Burt's bees lip balm in color Fig. It is a tinted lip balm. Cost is high for a lip balm. The balm itself is nice minty smelling and goes on very smooth. Lips does not feel waxy after the application. My lips felt very soft the next day. The product lasts on my lips through snacks. I do prefer multiple applications a day though for the nice, minty, cool feeling and smell on lips. It does have a hint of colour which complements my lips. But not too much. The shimmer is also very fine and cannot be felt. For me, I do feel that this balm is more on shiny side than shimmery. I would prefer if the color tint payoff is a bit more because even if I try to layer it, I cannot see more colour on my lips. I did struck a star off because I can twist the tube and remove the product but cannot undo it. I do not know if all the tubes are like this or just mine because it is my first Burt's bees product. But I cannot counter-twist the tube and put the product back into the tube. Value-wise, I find this to be a bit more costly compared to the product amount I get in the tube. Packaging and value if kept aside, this can be my daily usage product which fixes my lips completely in a day, feels and smells great too. An important thing to notice is that my lip balm is a part of 3-pack holiday collection set which included different colours. This was the first colour that I tried. It does say on the package "kissable". However, whatever small the color payoff is, it completely transfers and so it's not kissable.

Always have it on hand

I keep two - one in my purse and one in my desk. It helps protects my lips during the dry winter months while providing a noticeable tint of colour. The minty cooling sensation is especially soothing when lips are chapped or cracked.

I purchased one of these back in the day and liked it just fine; I believe it was in the shade 'watermelon' or something of the sort. It was pretty and shimmery, while also hydrating my lips, which is a plus as I don't find most of my lipstick to be very hydrating. It was great for its time, but with all of the other options we have in this day and age, I am sure that there is likely a cruelty-free dupe out there that does just as well and has a more ethical standpoint.

Love the way it feels on my lips

Burts bees products are some of my favourite for dry chapped lips, especially if you need a boost in helping then heal, but you get a nice shimmer at the same time!
