I picked up Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon and it’s officially my new breakfast obsession. The smoky applewood flavour is rich but not overpowering, and it crisps up beautifully in the pan without becoming too greasy. I love that it’s a lighter alternative to regular bacon but still has that satisfying savoury bite. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches, wraps, or just on its own with eggs. Good Bacon Substitute

The bacon is different. It definitely has a bacon flavor, but the texture is completely different. I personally wouldn't eat it on its own, but I think it would be great in sandwiches or if you have a recipe that calls for bacon or bacon bits.

I used the Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon. I love turkey bacon but this one is DELICIOUS!! I threw it on toast with provolone cheese, avocado, eggs, and then topped it with turkey bacon. This was so good!!

Honestly, I think turkey bacon just tastes better! It's my personal favorite!

The turkey bacon had more of a texture of ham. Is it bacon? It is it turkey? Is it turkey made to look like bacon? Your guess is as good as mine, but it tasted good – and that’s all I really cared about.

Butterball really knows how to do Turkey bacon well.
For a lower fat, lower cholesterol, less grease, lower sodium and gluten free turkey bacon, it didn't taste that bad and was a nice substitute to regular bacon. I would definitely repurchase again. It goes well with eggs and potatoes and makes a nice breakfast.
