THIS CHEESE IS AMAZING!! Sorry for the caps hehe...I couldn't contain my excitement! I got to try this cheese out over the weekend, and it literally blew my mind! SO versatile, SO good, and you can do sooo much with it. It has a super nice texture, and we made croutons out of it (fried it in a pan) and it maintained its shape, and a nice firm but gooey texture! You can even put this cheese on the BBQ (not for too long though), and it will taste divine! GO TRY IT if you haven't had a chance yet! I got to know this cheese thanks to ChickAdvisor amazing campaign. Will be repurchasing it in the future too. Great tasting cheese, that has a very full and little salty taste.
Makes the best croutons out there!!
This semi-hard cheese is delicious when grilled or fried, and knowing its Canadian-made makes it taste even better. I cut this into half inch cubes, coated it in corn meal, and fried it in olive oil to make warm Halloumi cheese croutons for my argula salad. Delish! Highly recommend :)
