I suffer from sensitive dry skin that is prone to acne. I received a sample of this almost a month ago and can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner. It definitely helps with dryness and doesn’t contribute to breakouts. In fact, it has actually helped calm and balance my skin.

This is my current go-to cleanser day and night. It doesn't foam up when you pump it, but it does lather and bubble up easily when you use it. A small amount is more than enough for the face, as more actually makes it harder to wash off. I have sensitive skin and this cleanser doesn't irritate me at all.

Best for sensitive skin!

What can I say? This is hands down the best cleanser I have ever used. I have very sensitive skin that doesn’t react well with any foaming or lathering cleanser. Cerave totally changed my skin’s direction. It is so calming and hydrating for my skin and takes off my makeup beautifully. If you wear heavy makeup, you definitely need a makeup remover prior to this cleanser and it is not quite strong enough for anything more than light makeup. However, after using it, my skin feels amazing and softer than when I started. Could not recommend it more!

SOOOO GOOD

This product is amazing! I have troubled with acne for so long and I started using this cleanser and I get a pimple here and there but other than that, a clear face! would recommend for sure!

Good drugstore buy

This is a nice gentle face wash with good value for the cost. It doesn't fully remove makeup on it's own — I usually use a micellar water first, and then this, for a clean but not dry feeling.

I have very sensitive skin and have tried numerous cleaners from all price ranges but this is by far my favorite. It cleans my skin, doing a good job of removing my makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup so heavy makeup wearers may need a remover or double wash. I love that this doesn't cause me to become red after washing which is usually what happens with other cleansers. Can't say enough and for the price you have nothing to lose

My skin is far from “thirsty.”

I am a 27 year old female with combination, sensitive and acne prone skin. CeraVe is a staple in my AM/Pm routines because their products have amazing, non-irritating and non-comogenic ingredients. I picked up the Hydrating Cleanser after trying the Foaming Cleanser and loving it. I originally began by using the Hydrating Cleanser only in the morning because it helped give my skin that kick of moisture it craves for day time life. When I started an Rx retinol cream at night I had to step away from the Foaming Cleanser due to one ingredient (SLS) and since then I have been using only the Hydrating Cleanser for AM & PM. This has quickly become my holy grail cleanser. The texture is just a luxurious and silky lotion that spreads so well and cleanser even better. Very little smell and super easy to wash off; I’ve yet to notice a film on my skin. Like the Foaming Cleanser it comes with a pump which I feel helps to keep it fresh but also less chance of wasting product as you don’t have to open and close a lid. Like most CeraVe products I can find it in Western Canada at Walmart, London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart and Co-op for about $13.

Great Cleanser

I have dry and sensitive skin, and this cleanser definitely helps to hydrate and clean my face. This is my go-to cleanser especially in the winter. I definitely recommend it!

A little pricey, but worth it

This cleanser is great! It doesn't make my skin feel taut or "squeaky" - just clean. I don't have "problem" skin (thankfully), so I cannot comment on how effective it is on that front, but I will say that for my combination skin, it is great. I wish it was a little cheaper, though.

Best cleanser I have tried so far!!!

I bought this cleanser a few weeks ago and it has definitely become my favorite cleanser, I love that it leave my skin super soft and hydrating. I use it in the morning and at night! I highly recommend this cleanser!!!:)
