My daughters and I love pistachios and were so excited to review this flavour. We love Chapman’s ice cream for supporting our Canadian dairy farmers and are thrilled to have another creamy delicious flavour to choose from! The taste was not overwhelmingly sweet with generous pieces of almonds sprinkled through out. We would have liked to have real pistachio pieces but even without we would enjoyed it and would buy it again. #Lookforthebluecow #SupportCanadianDairy

Chapman's Premium Pistachio and Almonds Ice Cream

I received a free voucher complimentary from Chick Advisor for the Chapman's Premium Pistachio and Almonds. I love this ice cream it's so delicious and creamy. It has a perfect amount of almonds and the pistachio was tasty at times addictive coming back for more. I've already had 3 bowls of it this weekend. I really enjoyed it, it was so good.

Memories of Little Italy

I've always been a fan of Chapman's ice cream (and a superfan of ice cream in general), so when I heard that there was an opportunity to try out a new flavour, I was like "Where do I sign?!?!". LOL. What surprised me the most was the flavour combination. For a lot of people, pistachios and almonds probably aren't the first flavour choice that comes to mind when you ask them what their favourite ice cream is, but as a descendent of Italian parents, I used to frequently spend time in Little Italy with my family as a child and purchase gelato from many of the ice cream shops in the area, and this was one of the most popular flavour combinations that people would order, myself included. The triple-threat for me was an ice cream cone filled with lemon, pistachio and hazelnut gelato (or limone, pistacchio and torrone, if you ever want to order it in proper Italian). While there are subtle nuances that differ between Chapman's and the ones I used to order, mainly due to the fact that ice cream and gelato are prepared differently lending to different taste and texture profiles (gelato being softer and richer), they've faithfully recreated the gelato experience I once enjoyed and looked forward to as a child. Although French Vanilla is usually my go-to ice cream indulgence nowadays, I can honestly say that Chapman's Pistachio and Almonds will have a spot waiting for it in my freezer. :0)

Taste is ok but not my favourite.....
I’m a big fan of pistachios and I was very excited when I was selected to #trychapmanscanada this flavour out and I couldn’t be happier because I #gotitfree 🍦
I almost couldn’t taste any pistachio flavour as the almond flavour is overpowering it....this ice cream has a very almond extract taste to it.

NEW FAV FLAVOUR

This is by far my new fav when it comes to ice cream! I i’m always love pistachio ice cream but with the add of almonds that makes it even better! I will definitely be re-buying!

I would definitely but Chapman’s Pistachio again

The Chapman’s Pistachio and Almond ice cream is to die for. It’s truly amazing. Usually when I go to an ice cream store and they have Pistachio ice cream that’s the kind I get 95% of the time but now having it accessible in a bucket to have when ever I want is fantastic. I am so glad they decided to make this kind.

Love Chapman's, this flavour can stay on the shelf

I love Chapman's ice cream - I purposely buy it before other brands, but I am struggling with positives for this flavour. The ice cream has a nice creamy texture, it is sweet, but there is not a trace of pistachio in this product! It confuses me how a product can be branded as something it is not, I don't appreciate being misguided. It's basically a green coloured sweet cream with pieces of almond - not pistachio! Skip this flavour and get the Tahitian vanilla - now that one was delicious
