Value and clean

The mask its self can be used 2 ways. I used it as a mask and it dried pretty fast and left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The fact that it give you the option just to use it as a quick cleaner is great to so can get the best of both worlds when in a rush for a clean face.

Shampoo for your face that leaves you squeaky clean!

I absolutely love how this smells.... But it does smell like herbal essence shampoo which is confusing for skin care. Regardless, I did the fruity smell. It's not like your typical acne medical smelling masks.

I also enjoyed the texture and addition of clay. A great mask product. It's awesome that you can use it as cleanser as well.

However, I really dislike the packaging. I had to get scissors to pop a hole in the seal and thus, wasted product and even then the seal still would not come off which just resulted in a frustrating mess. That and I just don't like jars... Especially for something that is to be used as cleanser. I think I wouldn't mind as much if it as least came with something to scoop the product out. I have long nails and absolutely hate getting product under my nail beds. If it was a tube or a pump I would certainly recommend this for anyone with oily acne prone skin. Personally, having combination skin I found this on the edge of too drying.

Overall, I'm happy with the product and thank chuck advisor for the opportunity to try it complimentary. I just wish the packaging was more user friendly.

Such a great and refreshing face mask. Excellent for a weekly use as it doesn't dry out your skin. It made my skin really soft. It really cleanses the pores and treats pimples and prevents future breakouts. It is a cool and refreshing feel almost tingly. The mask smells great as well. I wasn't a huge fan of it being so white and looking like zinc oxide but the clay texture was great and made for easy application and removal. I look forward to adding this mask to my routine.

Better Than Before

I received Clean & Clear Acne Triple Clear Clay Mask for free from ChickAdvisor, in exchange for my review.
I used to use Clean & Clear cleansers and other products almost exclusively, but grew away from the brand a little bit as I started to explore other skincare options. One of my favourite products was their cream cleanser, especially because of the “tingly” feeling it leaves on the skin.
The Clay Mask reminds me of that cleanser, but I actually enjoy using it even more. It has that minty, tingly feeling, and smooth creamy texture. The extra ingredients like aloe and clay are awesome - I like using clay masks on my skin in the summer, as they seem to help draw out some impurities from the hot sticky weather. And aloe works well on my skin to moisturize and soothe.
This can be used just as a mask, to be left in for a few minutes, and also as a quick cleanser. I like that the label instructs to test this product out before applying it to your whole face, because even though I’ve always been a fan of clean & Clear products, they can be somewhat drying for certain skin types, or if used too frequently.
I loved getting to try the Triple Clear Mask - it reminded me of how much I used to use Clean & Clear products, and inspired me to grab some more next time I’m shopping!

Perhaps the best acne masks I've tried!

I love the idea of masks, but I'm a pretty low-maintenance lady and never want to carve out the time to sit with a face mask on (I know, I know -- I could do it while watching Netflix or doing emails. I'm lazy!!). I got this from ChickAdvisor to test, and I managed to sum up the effort to try it out, and sooo happy I did.

My 26-year old skin has matured pretty well, and I haven't had acne or regular breakouts for years, but a couple humid sweaty weeks has taken a toll on my skin lately, and I was noticing some bumps forming so this mask arrived at the *perfect* time.
I did notice that it was alot thinner than I thought it would be, I expected more of a dry clay instead of the thinner paste, but the texture was actually great, as it spread better and you used less. The mint was instantly noticable, and I loved it, as acne products are famous for their stinging and heat, and the mint was wonderfully soothing and cooling -- I felt no heat, and not even any tingle.
It dried fairly quickly, and felt very even. I loved that it didnt dry out completely so it was a flaky, dusty mess -- it stayed on perfectly, even as I moved my face. It washed off with very little scrubbing, and my skin felt slightly plump (perhaps from the mint/menthol?) and soft. My skin was completely matte too, so I think this would be great for shiny/oily skin.

I'm definitely keeping this product on hand for any time I start to notice my skin going a little iffy -- it feels like its great quality, and was very simple!

Also, BONUS, you can also use it as a cleanser instead, simply by rubbing it into youre wet skin. So if you hate masks or don't have 3 min to do one, just wash your face!

Feels clean

This clay mask makes my skin feel clean and clear (literally)! I love the smell which is a clean refreshing smell. I used this on my t zone areas, especially my nose. Helped to flatten any pimples and remove excess oils from the day. The clay does dry hard so don’t leave on longer than the tin recommended. My pores felt tighter but wish it worked harder on emptying the pores thoroughly.

Reasonable product

I like that this product did not greatly dry out my skin after using. The light scent was also pleasant and not overwhelming. I have to wait a bit more time to see if it helps prevents breakouts, but decent product so far.

Skin felt nice but not sure about acne

I received this product to try from Chick Advisor. After each use, my face felt clean and not oily. However, I didn't feel that it reduce any break outs. It worked as well as must cleansers do at a drug store.

Maybe not for me.

I have tried almost every acne product out there but nothing has been an obvious fix. I used to use Proactiv regularly until it started effecting my eyes by making them sore and itchy. I tried Clean & Clear's clay mask last night and woke up this morning with a swollen eye for the first time ever. I didn't apply it anywhere near my eyes to avoid possible irritation. It could be a total coincidence but I will not be using this mask again until I know for sure. The formula itself is very soft and spreadable which I liked. It also left my skin feeling super smooth and clean. The scent wasn't a harsh chemical smell either. I really hope it works for others but at this time I can't say anything regarding it's effectiveness.

Very Gentle Mask

The first thing I noticed about this mask is that it's very smooth to apply compared to other clay masks which tend to be thicker. Since the application was smooth, it was easy to apply an even layer, allowing it to dry fairly quick. It also didn't provide any stinging or tingly feeling which is a bonus, especially for those who have sensitive skin. The package recommends applying this mask no more than 3 times a week, which is understandable, but because of this, I didn't really notice a difference in my skin. With that in mind, I would use this more of a weekly skin treat rather than to target acne clearing.
