Tastes Good But Very Small

These energy bars are always on Checkout 51 at the moment, so now’s the time to grab some if you’re a fan or want to try them out.

I tried the Chocolate Chip bar and although I love the flavour and texture, I just wish it was bigger.

However, it is advertised as a ‘mini bar, mighty snack’. So they weren’t lying! 😂

Has a strange medicinal taste

Stick with the other flavours. I am a big fan of Cliff bars, just not the Chocolate Chip flavour. These have a strong medicinal/vitamin aftertaste that I don’t taste in other flavours. Chocolate Chip is a miss for me

Tastes like cookie dough

This is my favorite CLIF bar because it tastes just like raw cookie dough, but way better for you. It’s full of sugar so it’s obviously not the healthiest but the protein levels are great, especially for a quick snack after a workout! The one thing I don’t like about these are the texture. They taste great about about halfway through the bar the texture becomes sort of off putting for me

Yummy energy bar I can always count on

I recently got into energy bars and tried practically all of the brands and flavors and I think this one is one of the best brands and flavors! It tastes really good and it's a great healthy snack.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie

This CLIFF bar reminds me of a soft chocolate chip cookie. I like putting it in the microwave for 15 seconds so that the chocolate chips melt and you get the nice sweetness from the chips throughout the bar. The base of this bar is a soft and chewy texture. It is made of rolled oats, rice flour, brown rice syrup. mixed flax seed and a few other ingredients. There is a nice crunch to the bar because of the chocolate chips and the rice treats and oats. I love having this bar when I am craving something mildly sweet and chocolaty. You can purchase these for around $2 each or in larger packages or 12 or 14 (cannot remember exactly) at Walmart, Loblaws or many pharmacies.

not my favorite flavor

I purchased this flavor of Clif energy bar because it was half price at Rexall. I found the flavor a bit lacking, although it did contain an abundant amount of chocolate chips. It was a tad bland for my liking so I am undecided if I would purchase it again.

It did keep me full until my next meal which was four hours afterwards.

Good for on the go

If you are looking for an energy bar that tastes really good, this is not the one. This tastes like your standard energy bar, kind of artificial tasting in a way.
They are just okay, when you get them on sale, and they end up being $1 a bar, they are not too bad. Especially compared to the price of other energy bars.

Tastes great.

I enjoy these bars. I do wish it was a bit more filling as I am going back for another one shortly after. They taste great and do give me a extra boost of energy when I really need it and don't have time to sit and have a full meal.

Delicious Wholesome Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bar

This is a great flavour of CLIF bars. Though it is not my favourite flavour, it is one of my tops. This bar is made with a wholesome vanilla oat base. Each bar is fairly thick and chewy. There are plenty of chocolate chips inside each bar, which add a sweetness and dessert-like quality to the bar. There are also small pieces of raisin, which add a nice natural sweetness. I enjoy eating this bar after having warmed it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds (be careful you don't burn it). This allows the chocolate chips to melt and the bar to get all gooey. When I warm the bar, it reminds me of a wholesome chocolate chip oatmeal bar. Delicious. Each bar has a nice amount of vitamins and minerals included, such as calcium, iron, and protein.

These bars can be found in packs of larger quantities of one flavor or can be bought individually. The individuals are often on sale at 3 for $5 at many supermarkets.

Very yummy

I normally don't like protein bars but this one is amazing! Price is a little expensive but I enjoy it as a treat now and then! Other flavours are great as well
