CND Creative Play Base Coat

I received CND Creative Play Base Coat FREE from Chick Advisor. I applied it on my clean, cleansed and well filed nails prior to applying my nail polish. i found the base coat a very nice light creamy colour and easy to apply. The bottle and packaging and design of the base coat is very visually appealing however my only complaint is that the smell is so strong, full of chemicals. i get headaches easily since my accident and the potent toxic smell is a bit much. I would buy this product and many other great colours from CND Creative Play.

Not the best base coat

I wasn't a huge fan of this base coat. Had a really strong smell and I find that my Essie base coat does a better job. The brush was a great size though and easy to handle but I think you can get a cheaper product that does the same job.

Base it this works good

When I use nail polish it's a rare occurrence. When I use nail polish i just use that without a base coat etc. I liked using this base coat I even thought the tint was little and cute enough that I would try wearing just that. I can't wait to do my nails again so I can use this again. #gotitforfree

Basecoat

Base coat went on smoothly and dried fast, i didn't have any problems with this products. My nail polish still chipped very fast even with the base coat and top coat.

A smooth base coat

I received the CND Creative Play Base Coat for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club opportunity. The base coat on its own is a cream coloured polish that goes on smoothly and dries fairly quickly. Unfortunately, when I use the entire system, base coat, nail lacquer, and top coat, my colour started to chip after the second day. I don't know if this is a problem with the base, nail lacquer or top coat. Or maybe the whole 3 step system. As a result I can't recommend any of the products in this 3 step system.

CND CREATIVE PLAY Base Coat

I was given the opportunity to try CND CREATIVE PLAY BASE COAT recieved from Chick Advisor. It dried quickly and applied a nice coat of polish to my nails.

It went on easy but the combination of all the products ended up making a thick layer that pealed off. I tried a second time going even thinner than I had the first time and it was a bit better.

Good for a base coat

Overall the quality of this was ok. It isn't anything special. I honestly am disappointed with the product and likely wouldn't purchase it in the future. It was easy enough to use and put on but required more than I usually use with others.

Not very impressive as a base coat

This is meant to be a base coat but it does not really help the other coats adhere to the nail, it mostly just provides another clear layer of polish on the bottom. For the price, I feel like it is not very worth it.

Neutrally Base

I am on the fence about the base coat from CND Creative Play. I feel like it dried out my nails. I use alot of nail polish, but have never had breakage like this. To be fair the weather is changing, and that may have played a part, but I noticed the problem when I started using the Base Coat. However like with the lacquer, I didnt seem to notice a strong scent, and it is an affordable product - I will try it again in a few weeks.
