Not the best base coat out there

This base coat was provided to me by ChickAdvisor, free for reviewing as part of the CND creative play 3 step system. #gotitfree
This base coat didn't thrill me. They advertise it because it "enhances" the color of the creative play nail lacquer but I didn't notice a difference. I have since tried the color part of this system with my regular base coat and I still found the color vibrant. It didn't provide any change to my nails. The base goes on smooth, doesn't leave any hint of color (just a bit of shine) and dries quickly (about 2 minutes for me using a thin coat). If you have strong, healthy nails this is a fine base coat to avoid color staining. If you need a bit of nutrients or you're expecting this base coat to make the polish last longer I would spend the money elsewhere and get a formula that provides a tacky base to paint on, or give your nails that extra boost of nutrients to keep them strong and healthy.
I'll use my sample, but it didn't impress me enough to go and buy this base coat. For the retail price of it, I expected more

Easy to apply

I got this product free with Chick Advisor with the colour and topcoat. It applied easily and dried quickly. I do not find it assisted in making the nail lacquer last longer or adhere longer to my nail. It lasted significantly longer on toenails vs finger nails.

Good application brush, consistency was good, not too thick or thin. However I did notice the drying time for this base coat was long than my OPI one, I had to wait about 5 minutes for it to set properly. No scent. Will probably stick to OPI for my base coat

Uneven

Makes the color look uneven and splotchy. Cannot get it to go on in one smooth motion with the brush provided. Works well with larger third party brushes.

Decent Base Coat

I found this base coat to do what it claimed to do - nothing more, nothing less. It went on nicely, wasn't too thick, and dried quickly to prepare for putting nail colour on.

I wouldn't say it was any better than other base coats, but I did try it with another brand of polish and it worked just as well as with the CND colour.

For a base coat it did the trick!

I was happy with the mat color. The pigment was even and enjoyable. It may even be nice on its own with a top coat. It seemed to apply smoothly. I would compare the quality to that of one of the less expensive brands.

Chips sooner than expected but prevented stains

I got this base coat free from chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review. I tried it along with the shade Royalista, a bright blue, from the same line. Along with colour and top coat I got some small chips after two days, which is sooner than I do with my regular base coat. However, I was happy to see that even with a blue polish, there were no stains on my nails after removing it. The base does have a pale pink colour that looks like it might blur nail imperfections, but the pigmentation is so low that it really doesn't make a difference if you were thinking of this as something that could be worn alone. Overall if staining is your biggest concern, this might be an option for you to try. It you need longer wear, you may need to consider other options.

It's just ok

It's an ok base coat. Didn't do anything better than any other base coat.
Although I used it together with nail polish and top coat, it started chipping after 3 days.

Decent base coat, nothing special

This base coat did the job as any base coat, although I did find that it took forever to dry. I think it's pretty standard -- not bad, but not spectacular.
