Very gentle
This product is quite gentle on your teeth and gums. It doesn’t leave a very heavy, mint aftertaste and leaves your mouth feeling fresh. It took away the sensitivity to sweets and gave me relief.
Effective
I'm a fan of whitening toothpaste but need something to help with cold sensitivity and this fits the bill. I tried a sample of this from my dentist and have been a fan ever since. It is rather expensive, but I prefer this to Sensodyne.
NOticebly effective
I have been using Colgate sensitive Pro-relief (75 ml) for approximately 10 days. First thing I noticed was the great safety seal. It wasn't the conventional foil cap but actually a plastic cap that you use the lid to remove. It's a wide base cap so it allows you to stand the back tube up on its end.
I found the taste to be pleasent and minty without being strong. The toothpaste has a good texture and isn't gritty.
I suffer a minor amount of tooth sensitivity. I have found that this colgate sensitive pro-relief gives me some relief from the sensitivity so holding true to the claim of sensitivity relief.
I do not feel that I have been using the product long enough to review the whitening properties of this product. I hope to follow up after more use.
Perfect alternative
This toothpaste works great. Flavour is good and mouth feels nice and fresh afterwards.
Works good on my sensitive teeth as well. I have noticed a little change with the whitening but not much.
Works first time around.
I received this new Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for free thanks to a coupon I got in the mail from Shopper’s. I wasn’t going to try it because I’ve been happy with the sensitive toothpaste brand that I’ve been using and when I have tried other brands, they never seem to work for me. Since it was free I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I don’t really care for its taste, it’s very minty, but after using it only one time, its effects were spot on and they lasted for a full 24 hours no matter what I drank or ate, hot or cold, I didn’t feel a thing. I can’t say much for the whitening that it’s supposed to give you because after two weeks of use, I haven’t seen any difference in the colour of my teeth. If you have sensitive teeth and don’t mind very minty toothpaste you should give this one a try. A medium size tube is selling for $3.97 at Walmart Canada, but I’ve seen it at some stores selling for as high as $7.99, which I think is ridicules for any toothpaste! So make sure you do your home work and look around before you go out and buy it.
