I tried this not to long ago to get rid of a dreaded coloring gone bad.It works it got rid of the awful color. It is not like a hair dye where you think its going to be thick and easy to apply. Its sort of like watery and smells like sulfur(ya its stinky stuff)there is sulfur in it.But if your desperate to get rid of a bad coloring gone wrong this will do it and is so worth it!There is a extra strength one to, I tried this extra conditioner one and it worked really well and my hair did feel nice and soft after.

I recently dyed my hair and didn’t like the way it brought out the red in it. I saw this Color Oops hair color remover on line, read a lot about it and I even watched a video of a real hair dresser trying a different brand on a girl on YouTube. I also watched some other video's about Color Oops and how well it works. Color Oops hair color remover is suppose to take you back to your lightest shade before you dyed your hair. I found out after I spent so much money on it buying it on line, that I could have bought it at a Drugstore and paid a lot less for it, only $11 something, but live and learn. So yesterday I went for it. It came out of the bottle pretty thin, so you have to be careful when putting it on. You only need to leave it on your hair for twenty minutes, but you have to do a lot of rinsing, at least twenty to thirty minutes, so get comfortable before you start. The more you rinse the better it works. Well after all that rinsing and drying of my hair, the red tinge was gone and I was very happy with it. Once you do this you can recolor your hair the next day, but I’m going to wait awhile before I go ahead and do that. It didn’t dry my hair out, or make it fall out!! It left my hair very soft and manageable, it does have a smell to it, but no more then any hair dye has and that goes away. What is really nice about it is that it's bleach free and ammonia free, so it won’t have any damaging effects on your hair. Color Oops hair color remover is suppose to take you back to your lightest shade before you dyed your hair. It worked well for me, so next time you don't care for your dye job, don't cry, try Color Oops hair color remove and try again.

I have been dying my hair for MANY years now.So I am a pro at dying my own hair.I got a box on Sale not my usual brand but the usual color(light brown)or so I thought!I was horrified and shocked after coloring that my hair turned black!Needless to say I will never buy that brand again! At any rate I researched online trying to figure out how to remove this dreaded color.I had gone to the hairdresser and they said it would have to be stripped and redyed and would cost me anywhere from $200-$300.So doing it on my own was the only choice as I couldn't afford the hairdresser. There was some whacky suggestions online and I must admit I tried everything.I tried Head and Shoulders(apparently it strips the color)I tried dish soap.I tried dish soap and baking soda together.I tried washing repeatedly. The color would not budge and all I got was a sore hair and damaged hair.I went to London Drugs and they had hair stripping kits and this Color Oops.I chatted to the sales girl and she said it was new she had heard nothing about it.I read the back and it does not lighten or strip your hair it will actually remove the artificial color and restore hair's natural pigment. It was a little more pricey then the hair stripping kit it was $20 but I was desperate. The key it says is the longer you rinse the more pigment comes out.The only con about this product is it is very slimy and stinks! It had sulpher in it so you can imagine!PHEW!But it works! All that horrid color came out and who knew my actual real pigment was so nice!I hadn't seen the real color of my hair in years and years. Also my hair was really soft.So if your really desperate to get rid of a horrid color disaster give it a try!Just be warned about the smell and be sure to rinse it for a long time the longer the better..
