Fun for young jewelry enthusiasts
It was a bit of a learning curve at first, understanding the positioning and getting the right fit of the bracelet (making them much too loose to start). We wasted a couple strings the first 2 times when the brackets didn’t connect to the string and we had to figure out what we did wrong, but once we got the hang of it, it was pretty easy and my 9 year old was making them by herself the moment she woke up the next morning.
I do appreciate everything comes in resealable bags. The machine itself isn’t too big. I would prefer it was detachable though for storage.
My daughter is excited to take it to her friends house to showcase it and make bracelets together, so I would say it’s a win.
So much fun!
This is so fun to use and so interactive! It comes with a beading pen and beads which are very comfortable and easy to use. The process is very simple: you stack the beads in the pen, string it, and snap it. Had a blast making these bracelets!
Fun way to make bracelets
The Cool Maker Heishi Bracelet Maker is a unique and fun way to make bracelets. It was easy to put together. My daughters loved using the “pen” tool to pick up their beads. It did take a bit of trial and error to get the end pieces to meet properly and then it was a breeze to use.
Easy diy bracelet set for little girls
We got this as a gift and my daughter loves making bracelets with it. It allows her to get the beads into the string easily on her own with this contraption. The only thing is it does take a little bit of set up and learning and but once it was set up and my daughter learned how to use the device she was able to make bracelets with ease with on her own. I would say it is more suitable for children around 5+
Finally a jewelry maker that secures ends!
Both my kids really enjoyed this jewelry maker. All the fun they usually have creating patterns and designs is built into the activity. What is truly different is the ability to create neat ends for the bracelets using the machine and caps. It kept them busy and engaged and they definitely had fun. I took off a star because the main component of the maker doesn't collapse for storage and it takes up more space than I would like. I also envision needing to purchase many refills so the cost will be ongoing.
The quality for a "toy" is great though and it sparks creativity for my kids. I would recommended for any young jewelry makers looking for new methods create bracelets.
Great Bracelet Set
We received this free @coolmaker “Stack’d Heishi Bracelet Studio” from @thisisbutterly to review. You can make 17 bracelets with this kit. There is a bracelet to measure the correct size you need (there are different symbols to represent the different sizes). If you need inspiration for your bracelet, they have a page with design ideas or you can create your own.
Next, you use the beading pen to add the beads. You have to make sure the beads are put on a flat surface. There are symbols on the pen so you can see how many beads are needed.
Then, pick your clasps and add them to the holder. You add the string and then attach the beading pen to the string and set it on top. When you push down on the blue button, the beads slide down on the bracelet.
Your child puts their hand in the bracelet holder and pushes down to secure the clasps. Adjust the string for your bracelet, push down on the blue button and it will cut the string. Your bracelet is complete!
My one son made his own bracelet and my other son made one for his friend (pics 9 & 10).
While the main audience for this toy is for girls, it would be a great if the clasp colours were not just pink and purple.
This was definitely a lot of fun and it would make a great gift!
