I got these as a part of Chick Advisor Review Club and I was pretty excited to start using them.

Pros: They did noticeably whiten my teeth.

Cons: I had a great deal of sensitivity so much so that I started doing the treatments every other day. 2 hours was a super long time to keep them on my teeth. I didn't like how much they foamed up in my mouth. It says that you should be able to drink water and what not while wearing them, but I wouldn't in fear of them slipping off and swallowing them.

Over all they did what they said they would do. I wouldn't purchase them again just because they are out of my price range.

I was very fortunate to be selected to review this product for ChickAdvisor. The retail price can certainly deter someone from getting these but it may be worth it. The strips are easy to use but due to time, I was not able to leave it on for the full 2 hours as instructed.

The first few days that I used the strips, I did feel more sensitivity than I usually do. But even for the time that I did keep it on, I did see a difference in the colour of my teeth. If you are one to get your teeth professionally whitened, this can save you some money!

At first I was wary to try these. I had heard of Crest strips causing tooth sensitivity, the horrible taste and the leftover stuff from the strips. They were effective but a lot of cons to go with the pro.

I sucked it up and tried them out. I found the instructions were too vague on how to use them properly for the best results, ie. before/after brushing, after eating, in the morning/evening etc. Once I figured it all out, they were super easy to apply but I did find myself picking at them a lot. I was very aware of them on my teeth and although they did not hurt or anything, it was slightly irritating. There was a taste but it was rather mild. I waited the full 2 hours the first day and had some sensitivity after but it wasn't too bad and I did notice a difference in shades of my teeth. I also noticed the tip of my tongue was tingling a lot but I figure it was from me picking at my teeth so much.

The second time I tried them, I took them off after about 1hour 40min. I was going out and had to take them off a bit early. I noticed a lot less sensitivity with this slight amount of less time and again noticed my teeth were whiter.

I did the remaining days at the 1hour 40min mark and had no issues at all. My teeth are noticeably whiter and to put it to the test, I didn't tell my husband I was using the strips while he was at work. I told him when I was done with all the boxed and he commented that he had noticed something different with my smile but couldn't pin point it. I notice myself smiling with teeth more since using the strips.

The price for me is a bit out of budget just for teeth whitening, so I probably wouldn't buy it myself. I would happily use them though and recommend to people who can afford it.

I was surprised that these strips cost $70! It's a bit pricey for me but if you compared it to what you pay for a professional whitening, it's a fraction of the cost.

I was very hesitant (but excited) to try this product as I have never use whitening strips before. I heard that they go jelly-like and doesn't stay well on your teeth. However, this was not the case. The whitening strip stayed on for 2 hours without feeling too weird in my mouth. At first, it tasted kind of weird but I got used to it after a few days; it has a minty, plastic-ky taste to it. On a side note, I found the instructions really vague as of which is the upper and lower strip.

Onto the results, I could tell by the first day of using it, my teeth was whiter. Amazing! Just 1 use. However, I did experienced some major sensitivity (sharp pains I would say) possibly because this is the first time using whitening strips. As a result, I use the strips every other day instead of using it daily. For the rests of the application, I deliberately used it a few hours before bedtime so I won't have the sensitivity after I woke up. But I still had mild sensitivity a few hours after I woke up. I would probably buy the strips that are one level lower so that I don't have to put them on for the full 2 hours. Note that there was residue left on my teeth that was quick removed by brushing.

Bottom line: this product works amazingly and delivered on its promises.

I would recommend this product to those who:
- experience very little to mild sensitivity
- wants instant results to a "brighter, whiter smile"

I was lucky enough to received Crest 3D Whitestrips for free from the Product Review Club. I have tried Crest White strips in the past when they first came out with them and they have come a long way! When I first tried the product years ago, they were very effective but I hated the taste and texture of the product when taking the strips off. They also smeared onto my gums while using the product so it wasn't very pleasant.

I was excited to try these as it has been quite a few years and I was curious to see if I would get the same great results without the gooey/messy after effect. I was pleased to see that they did in fact make my teeth noticably whiter and weren't as messy. I don't have tough stains as I'm not a coffee or pop drinker however I love a glass of red wine and the occassional tea.

One thing I did notice about this product and the previous crest strips I've tried is that I do not need to do it for the full term they suggest, the full 7 days. I find they got the job done after a few days which helps for someone who is worried about spending the money for 7 days worth of white strips.

Wearing the product for 2 hours/day can be difficult and time consuming as I wasn't able to talk comfortably in them and my mouth produced a little more saliva than usual. So I wouldn't recommend wearing them to work or on the go as some commercials suggest.

I didn't find my teeth more sensitive than usual, but I didn't eat ice cream or really hot beverages so that might be why.

Altogether, the product is a little pricey but it definately works and I did see improvements. Would I buy them? YES! Like I mentioned earlier, I've used them before and these are new and improved so I would definately use them again when needed. If you're someone who is in the market to whiten your teeth without going to the dentist I would say GO FOR IT! or if you're someone like me who has little staining and wants to brighten up your smile for a vacation/event spend the money and go for it too! You don't need to do the whole treatment time, a few will do and you'll have enough for another few days :)

The RRP of $70 is rather steep, but after seeing the results, I do feel that it is justifiable as a twice yearly treatment. The strips are quite easy to use, and adhere well to the surface of the teeth for the 2 hr duration that it needs to be left on. I highly recommend NOT eating or drinking with the strips in place. The first few days that I used the product, I felt some sensitivity, and did not leave the strips on for the full two hours. For the last four days of the full week trial, I was able to keep them on for the full two hours and the sensitivity had decreased quite a bit. Even though I didn't have them on for the entire time at the beginning, the product still did what it says it would do, which is to whiten your teeth. Now, my teeth did not go to the shade of blinding, pure white that you see on the veneers of movie stars, but there was definitely an improvement, so that overall, my teeth did not look as dull and "yellow" as they did before. I also like that very clean feeling that I get on my teeth after the strips come off.
I had already recommended this to my girl friends, but not as something that should be used regularly. First, the price tag is quite high. Secondly, having to leave the strips on for 14 hours over a week is a bit inconvenient. I also don't think that this is appropriate for people who have very sensitive teeth or gum issues. But if your teeth and gums can handle it, then it's worthwhile to treat your teeth to this every 6 months or so to maintain that bright smile.

How well did this product perform according to its advertised claims?

The product claims to whiten teeth within seven days. It definitely exceeded these expectations. From the first strip, my teeth were brighter and already appeared to be stain-free. Results were quick, the strips were easy to use and they adhered well to my teeth.

How did this product perform compared to other whitening treatments you’ve tried in the past?

I tried Crest Whitestrips a few years ago. Besides whitening toothpastes (like Arm and Hammer), the original Crest Whitestrips were the only whitening treatment I tried prior to the Crest 3D Whitestrips Intensive Professional Effects. The new and improved Crest 3D Whitestrips are more effective than the old ones, as the results are more impactful this time around- compared to the previous time I used the original Crest Whitestrips. However, the tooth sensitivity I experienced this time was similar to that of my previous experience.

Would you consider purchasing this product again and/or recommend it to a friend?

I may purchase this product again in the future, but only if Crest can find a way to create strips that are catered towards sensitive teeth. While I realize that most whitening treatments have tooth sensitivity as a side effect, my personal sensitivity to the strips was so much that I couldn’t keep the strips on for longer than an hour and half at a time. I found that skipping a few days between treatments alleviated the discomfort. Oddly enough, I also found that cutting the strips down so that they didn’t touch the gums or the back of the teeth, also reduced a TON of tooth sensitivity. This little trick really helped me to proceed with the treatments.

Other Notes:

- Brush after removing the strips, as they leave quite a bit of residue on the teeth
- I wouldn’t recommend eating or drinking with the strips on. Even though the strips adhered well, the whitening solution still leaked out of the edges of the strip.

I will definitely recommend this product to a friend, because the final results are incredible, as long as you can get past the temporary discomfort.

Well I try them an I love the results...I drink a lot of coffee an I smoke...and my teeth look almost as good as they did when I was in my teen years...I found them easy to use and they stayed on great ..My teeth and gums were a bit tender for a few days..An I didn't really like that I had to wear them for 2 hours but I just put a movie on or read a good book...thanks so much for giving me the chance to try the crest strips...

I had the opportunity to try out the Crest 3D White Whitestrips Intensive Professional Effects as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and I found the product to be fairly effective. I use whitening products on a regular basis so I think I had pretty high expectations of this product that promised to whiten as well as professional whitening procedures. I do not personally think that it delivered on that but I do think that overall it did whiten my teeth.

The product is easy enough to use but I think that after day 3 of a 7 day, 14 hour whitening process I did not see my teeth getting any whiter. I also do not feel that there was a big difference between this product and the advanced seal 2 hour whitestrips. This process also made my teeth very sensitive which I had not experienced before. I do not know if I would purchase this product again or recommend it as I found it to be a long process and rather pricey, I think I would stick to the 2 hour whitestrips instead.
