One of my favorite book series, incredible drama and suspense, with a very captivating love story.

I loved this series...except for the last book. It's not the ending I wanted, but I'm not the author so it's not my call. I would still recommend this series to anyone looking for an easy read.

Divergent is definitely one of the best series that I've invested my time into. The first 2 books (Divergent and Insurgent) were AMAZING!! They took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I couldn't put them down. I couldn't stop thinking about them (to the point of having dreams about serums!). The 3rd book (Allegiant) was just okay IMO. It's more on the technical side and there is a lot of science talk. It was a tough read IMO. It's told in both of the main characters POV and sometimes I found it hard to know which chapter belonged to who. I found myself having to flip to the beginning of each chapter to see who was talking. I won't post any spoilers but the ending KILLED me! LOVE this book series and really hope everyone who likes these type of books can appreciate it the way that I have.

Now I know I'm not a young adult, but this series gave me something great to read and something to talk about with my teen daughter.....allllll those who have teen girls can commiserate!

Although I am far from a young adult, I did thoroughly enjoy this trilogy. Like most, I prefer the first book and found the third to be a touch of a let down. Just my personal thought! Even with that I would and do recommend this series.

If you liked the Hunger Games you will love this series. Kept me up till 2 in the morning

Great book! very interesting and never looses your attention. Great for those who loved the Hunger Games series.

This is another one of those "Young Adult" books that has become a hit with adult readers everywhere and I absolutely know why. This book was AMAZING. It's kind of hopping on the Hunger Games post-apocolyptic theme train, but the story is so different it is no copy cat. This book hooks you right from the beginning and keeps you reading on. Because it's a "YA" novel, it's an easier read which is good because you can read it quickly, but bad because it keeps you up at night with the "just one more chapter!" thing happening. The story is compelling, moving and suspensful. The movie comes out soon and my general rule (if at all possible) is to always read the book first. I find I end up liking the movie better because I have the background knowledge that heps explain things the movie may not. So long story short, read this book, read it SOON.

WOW, this book was really good!! very interesting plot. I pre-ordered allegiant and I can't wait for it to be out.

I have to say that this is a must-read for Hunger Games fans. With this being said, I think this series is actually better than the Hunger Games series. Don't believe me? Read it. You'll be addicted. The new book comes out this fall and it's marked on my calendar for pre-order. Read this book, then the second one, and you won't regret it.
