This Exfoliating Wash isn’t the same consistency of the normal exfoliating washes I use – it has less “scrubby” bits, but does include little micro beads within it.

The scent is light and fresh, and it foams up quite nicely with a very little amount of soap required to make me feel clean.

I don’t find it works like other exfoliators, so it falls flat on that end, but I don’t need to use moisturizer afterwards, so it succeeds on that aspect.

I wouldn’t recommend it as an exfoliator, but as a body soap, it’s perfect.

This body wash is really exfoliating and makes my skin feel more soft and smooth. I love the variety of different scents and i love that it makes my skin very moisturized and no longer dry.

I love the smell. I felt it worked extremely well my skin never felt better. As a farm girl who gets dirty this does clean and give you a feeling of being a deep clean.

Body wash is rich and creamy as Dove products always are. Lathers up nicely with gentle exfoliating beads that do a nice job clearing skin after a day at the beach. I always take this with me to shower off after tanning at the beach .

When I purchased this I had no idea it contained microbeads as its exfoliant or else, had I known, I would have never bought it! Really disappointed that a great brand like dove is continuing to use these in their products, not only is it harmful to our environment but these plastics don't break down and are harmful to our own health. Beyond the microbeads issue, I found this wash sub-par in comparison to dove's other body washes. The soap itself didn't foam well and seemed to just slip off my body annoyingly.

Like any other Dove products.. I like this exfoliating body wash. It does not leave your skin dry. I always have Dove body wash in stock and this is one of the items I buy whenever it's on sale. Bottle is not so big either and great for travel.

I've been this Dove body wash on a regular basis for my dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin and it leaves me feeling clean but not stripped of moisture. It works up into a gentle, exfoliating, foam-like lather that can be used year-round.

Pros: Contains moisturizing soybean and sunflower seed oil. Especially great to use on dry knees, elbows, and the back of feet. It's also nice to use all over your legs for gentle exfoliation before shaving to prevent ingrown hairs.

Cons: Steer clear if you're allergic to sodium lauroyl isethionate, glycerin, or parfum (anything scented). I'm not sure how safe the exfoliating beads are for the environment.

Recommended use: Lather up a little bit on a loofa or body brush and this product will last you a while. Since I'm really dry, I still apply body lotion after my shower. You may be able to get away with skipping body lotion if you have normal-oily skin and feel a residual creamy feeling like my mother says she does.
