After trying this product i thought it worked well overall but was a bit too greasy but it nourished our wavy hair and made it look shiny especially good for moisturizing your ends.

This is a review of the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil which while supplied courtesy of ChickAdvisor and Dove, all opinions are my own based on my personal experience with the product. This is a lovely product! The glass bottle is really pretty and makes the product feel expensive and high-end. The oil itself is excellent. The scent is light and fresh, nothing overpowering. I used it on both damp hair before blow drying and smoothed over my ends as a finishing product. Results were good though honestly not life-changing. Again, I don't find I'm reaching for this as often as I thought I might. More likely I will continue using this product as a weekly or bi-weekly treatment as opposed to daily use. J'ai reçu ce produit pour essaie, gracieuseté de ChickAdvisor. J'ai les cheveux qui ont tendance à être assez sec et il était intéressant pour moi d'essayer une huile pour cheveux. Au départ, je n'ai pas aimé l'odeur, par contre, elle s’atténue graduellement dans les cheveux. J'ai bien aimé son hydratation tout en laissant les cheveux légers et non-gras, mais il faut en mettre sur les pointes surtout. Je recommande!

At first I was sort of afraid to test this product out because I have naturally greasy hair. I do have dry damaged ends from straightening my hair daily so I tested this product out on the ends only. I really love this product after using it. It makes my hair look and feel healthier and I don't feel it in my hair which is a huge plus for me. I have tried hair oils and treatments before but I could always feel the slick oils in my hair and felt like it weighed everything down and made it feel dirty like I needed to jump in the shower and clean my hair. This product will last awhile for me since I apply it only to the ends. I do feel the product size would be a bit too small for someone with long hair that is dry all over but for those who need ends treatment only this is the perfect size.

I used this just after the shower let my hair dry then used the flat iron. I was so amazed by this oil. I had never used an oil on my hair. I have a little bit of dry damaged hair and this oil was so moisturizing for my hair even after using the flat iron. It left my hair soft, silky and smooth for days afterwards.

I've always been a fan of Dove products.I have fine, thin hair without a lot of damage. Split ends, fly aways, you name it, my hair probably has it. In the last few years I've tried a number of oils and serums on my hair in hopes of taming the beast.

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil is one of the better products I've tried. It didn't leave my hair feeling oily and kept my hair looking shiny and healthy. It was super easy to apply and seemed to really do wonders for my hair.

The only thing I honestly didn't like about it was the smell. It sorta smelled like baby powder, which is not what I want my hair to smell like!

I've used this product a few times since receiving it and my hair feels so amazing after every time! I usually use it after my shower when my hair is damp and throw it up into a top knot. When I take it down, my hair is soft, silky, and smooth. It just looks and feels great! The oil itself smells amazing too! Not overpowering at all. I absolutely love this product and will definitely continue to use it!

This makes my hair so so soft!! I absolutely love it! I put it on after I blow dry my hair to kind of seal everything in place and my hair feels so silky smooth! Not greasy at all!!
