Great product for the price. I usually use Argan oil on my hair, which I had to spray all over and for couple times to ensure its coverage. With this product, since it absorbs quickly and moisturize my hair on first application, I don't have to redo application to ensure its effectiveness. Left my hair very shiny, silky and smooth.

I am sure it acts like a heat protectant, but I rarely have to use heating tools on my hair to see how good it is.
The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the scent was a bit strong.

I have long hair and the ends are pretty dry and get tangled very easily. When I use this product after washing/conditioning it makes my hair look shiny and it feels nice and soft. The best part is that it doesn't weigh my hair down....and it smells lovely! This think that this is a great product at this price point....works just as well, if not better, than similar salon product that are way more expensive.

I regularly use a hair oil after washing my hair. I find that it helps keep my hair moisturized, and minimizes static and fly aways. I'm not loyal to any particular brand so I was keen to try Dove's Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil. I use about 4-5 pumps, massage the oil between my hands, and then glide my fingers through my hair so that I coat the strands. It is effective, but personally I don't love the scent. I've heard others describe it as baby powder which isn't my favourite. It isn't unpleasant though...just not for me. Of note, for a drugstore item, I'd prefer a lower price tag. The one I'm using now isn't much more expensive and is more of a luxury product.

This is one of the best values I've found in hair oils. I've used Moroccanoil treatment, as well as pure Argan Oil in my hair to keep my waves from turning into a frizz-fest, and this works as well as any of the others at a much nicer price point. I like to smell and feel of this product, and it can be used with a light hand that makes it last a long time.

Best oils i have used in my hair so soft amd shiny and you dont have to use alot. Great price so easy to use. So glad they made this and smell amazing.

I have never used an oil product on my hair before, so was excited to try this. I loved it. It has a great scent and it really helped nourish and lock the moisture in my hair. I used it after washing, on damp hair, and let my hair air dry. It also reduced the frizziness a bit. I can see how the bottle would last a while, as you don't need to use much, making it relatively affordable.

I can't believe how soft and shiny my hair looks! My husband loves the smell of my hair, after I use this product. I received it for free, for reviewing purposes, and I just love Dove products so much. This hair treatment makes my hair feel strong, but light-weight afterwards. I will continue to purchase and recommend this product.

I tried the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment free thanks to ChickAdvisor Product Review Club! Absolutely love the smell of it. I use it while my hair is damp. I don't blow dry...don't even own a blow dryer. I use 4 drops spread on my hand then rubbed through my hair mid to ends. I was worried at first because it says oil but my hair look amazing after drying and combing through. So soft, shiny and no frizz!! Even on rainy days. The smell is intoxicating. Love it!
