A lot of product for the cost
I've been using the Dr. Bronner Pure-Castile Liquid Soap Tea Tree as a face wash, it made my face feel very clean. However, I found that the soap made my acne-prone skin feel very dry if the product was used too often.
I read a lot of good reviews about this soap so decided to try it. Got the liquid one in lemon scent. It smells clean and not too strong.
I have to say i'm still getting used to it. I know it's natural and good for you, but washing my hands with it the skin feels a bit weird. I do remember soap feeling like this when i was a kid. I guess we are so used to moisturizers in the soap now that the basic real-deal thing is the odd guy. I know it's clean, i just don't feel comfortable, and my hands feel a bit dry afterwards. For now i use it in the kitchen as hand soap and mild general purpose cleaner.
It needs to be diluted so the bottle lasts a while. I got mine at whole foods, the price was reasonable as it was on sale at the time. The bottle was sealed.
Oh and i tried reading the stuff on the label... ??? Gave me some things to think about... as i wash the dishes.
I love this all purpose soap!. I usually use it as a body wash, and bathroom cleaner. It's natural and effective, and does not irritate my skin. I also use it as a shampoo when my hair is in need of clarifying. I totally recommend this product.
This is my favourite soap ever. It lathers up very well, smells amazing, all natural, and leaves you feeling fresh. I just wish I didn't have to go to specialty stores to purchase it (like The Big Carrot Natural Food Market on Danforth).
I just tried using Dr. Bronner's magic soap, I bought the Castile soap from well.ca, it was wonderful for my hair, I diluted it with a lot of water and added Jojoba oil, makes a great shampoo for itchy scalp.
I have always loved Dr.Bronners soaps.I have tried most of them I love the Peppermint and Lavender.I used to always get the Liquid soaps but the bar soaps are great! The Peppermint has such a nice cooling feeling when its a hot summer day it just seems to cool the body down. The Lavender has a nice relaxing smell. The Tea Tree Oil one is great for skin conditions or bruises and even great on acne.I haven't tried any Dr.Bronner products I didn't like. Its always fun to read all the writing all over the bottles and wrappers as well.Good products!
