Everyday is My Birthday

Essie's Birthday Girl nail polish applies very well, however, to get a full color result I had to apply a second coating. It's very pretty and sparkly. It glistens in the light which I love. It doesn't chip off easily like other nail polish brands that I own. It lasts a very long time so I would say if I were to buy it, it would be worth my money!

Essie nail polish

The @essie nail polish in the color "birthday girl" can be worn alone or as a topcoat to add a glitter finish to a regular polish. It is an iridescent pink and gold polish that dries quickly and applies evenly to the nail. If worn alone the color is sheer but beautiful if you want a more natural nail look.

Durable and easy! Dries slow

The Product:
💖 Light pink nail polish with sparkles (very shimmery, almost metallic)
💖 Dries in a couple of hours
💖 Relatively translucent (I applied two coats)

What I Loved:
💖 The colour is very cute and glam. I’d describe it as almost a rose gold
💖 Because of its translucence, it can be used as a second coat over another solid colour (I didn’t do this, but I saw another Instagrammer put a layer of sold pink underneath, and it looked so good!)
💖 It lasted about 7 days before chipping. Now, 9 days later, only my thumbnail is chipped, and the rest is perfect!
💖 The consistency was perfect and allowed for an easy application. It was smooth with no strings
💖 The shimmer nicely hides any imperfections (dents, mess-ups, etc.)

Areas for Improvement:
💖 I don’t paint my nails often, so not sure if this is the norm…but I found this took FOREVER to fully dry. 💖 Hours later and I was still accidentally denting them. I was going to put a coat of essie topcoat gel setter, but then my nails looked way too bulky so I redid them. I think I’ll be sticking to their quick-set line from now on

Pink Sheen Polish

I really liked this nail polish because it was a natural pink colour and it went on so smooth. The brand is super affordable and I would recommend this product to anyone.

Beautiful color

Great color and quality like all of Essie’s other nail polishes. It’s a sparkly light pink that needs several coats to be more opaque. Lovely summer color!

Cute baby pink

I absolutely love this colour of Essie nail polish! The birthday girl shade is perfect for the beach, nights out or just for your regular polish! It goes with absolutely everything I definitely would recommend it for anyone of any age

I recieved this product just before my wedding day and I actually used it for my wedding. It is so beautiful and shiny and went on amazingly with only one coat.

I absolutely adore this nail polish. It is fairly sheer. I like it for just a simple polish or if I want something a little bolder, I will use this over top of a solid pink polish. My 3 year old also loves this sparkly colour!!

Gorgeous sparkle

Love this! This polish leaves a very gorgeous sheen like sparkle that’s not an overpowering glitter but shines like a diamond in the sun. Such a gorgeous color & very good quality. You only need one coat (or you can add 2 for extra sparkle) it lasts a long time and is perfect for a nude look.

chic Pearl vibes

This nail polish represents everything trendy, it has that unicorn finish but not in a trashy way. It looks very sophisticated and you only need 2 coats, even a single coat gives u that translucent look which I got a lot of compliments for, I used it to create French tips and boy was it a huge hit
