We love chocolate, so when we were given the chance to try the Ferrero Rocher Chocolate squares for free - we were pumped!

We love the Ferrero Rocher balls and expected these to be the same. We were wrong. They taste kind of like cheap chocolate instead of the high quality we’re used to. We were sad. The milk chocolate is Ok but we wouldn’t buy them again. Too expensive for poor results. we’ll stick with the original.

It’s just ok

I do love ferrero rocher so I was looking forward to trying these squares but I found them to be just ok! I definitely tasted the crunchy crispies but didn’t taste any of the hazelnut bits? Because it was mostly the crispies the chocolate didn’t feel as elevated as if it had more nuts in it. The dark chocolate one was my favourite, and I found the white chocolate one too sweet.

It’s good but not my favorite chocolate

The white chocolate was the best and dark chocolate third. I really didn’t mind the white chocolate. There are a lot of nut, which is nice. I also prefer the bars over the original ball shaped ones. But this is not my favorite chocolate bar and would probably buy something over this.

Delicious but too small

I received a sample of each of the 3 flavours, white, milk and dark chocolate with hazelnuts. All three flavours were delicious, but the milk chocolate was my favourite. The squares are much smaller than the ferrero balls in terms of chocolate, and you won't even notice that it has cream filling as they are very thin. They're good for children, but adults would need bigger snacks.

Good product

I enjoyed this product. It tasted good and is a nice smooth chocolate with walnuts and waffers. Still has good Ferrero taste but in a square form and pieces of walnut not whole.

The original is better

I really wanted to love this because I am Ferrero Rocher lover for 30 years! I prefer the original. The texture isn't as grand as the original unfortunately.

Not better than the original

Have you heard about Ferrero Rocher’s new chocolate squares? I hadn’t until I was selected to receive a free sample of them to test and review. So when I opened my mail yesterday I was delighted to see 1 of each flavor to test.

First thing, thank goodness it is still cooler weather, as these would’ve been a melted gooey mess otherwise - I do not recommend mailing them to anyone lol. I received one made with dark chocolate, one made with milk chocolate, and one make with white chocolate.

Dark: I’m not a fan of dark chocolate typically, however, this wasn’t overpowering and the inside helped to sweeten the outside. It was quite enjoyable. I rank this as my 2nd favorite of the three.

Milk: Always my favorite chocolate, but it is softer for melted and crumbled more; but was the closest to the taste of a usual Ferrero Rocher. However, it still isn’t as great as the original ball version, and I’d choose the original over the square any day! But this one was my favorite of the three square flavors, since it’s just familiar.

White: I was the most intrigued and confused by this one. Sometimes I liked it other times I was thrown off by how different it was. So I’ve given it third place. I’m also a very selective white chocolate person, and even then, in very limited quantity.

Overall, they are a nice little treat; but I prefer the original balls.

Nice but not the Ferrero I love

I really wanted to like these squares as I thought they would be a simpler way to carry one of my favourite treats.
While I like that there are different flavors of chocolate available, I prefer milk chocolate usually, but found the white chocolate tasted most similar to a Ferrero ball to me.
They melted very quickly, after having them in my pocket for only a couple of minutes, which may have impacted the taste/experience of eating them. Very messy.
I'd try them again, but I think ill stick with the original.

Prefer the original

Like how each chocolate is individually wrapped. However, i prefer the original Ferraro Roche. This new product is slightly to sweet. I couldnt taste much nuts (not much nut texture). I got this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Just okay

I liked the dark chocolate, the others not really. White is usually my favourite, but it was too sweet. I prefer the good old Ferrero with the wafer layer, the gooey centre and the hazelnut! Don’t mess with a good thing, except maybe make it in dark chocolate version.
