My go to brand because it is usually on sale. Garnier has the colour choices.that suit me. I use it every six to eight weeks. It's easy, quick and effective! I always get compliments on my hair :)

Probably one of the cheapest "box dyes" you can purchase at a drug store and for good reason - the product is cheap.
Firstly, all hair colours have a stronger scent but this odor is completely overwhelming. I get an instant headache as soon as I open the tubes.
Secondly, I have long long hair so I normally need to buy two boxes. I only ultimately need one and a half, so I always have product left over. After fully covering all of my hair with even more dye than is needed, it STILL doesn't take. I have tried this dye a few times, because it is so cheap and I kept trying different colours hoping to get different results, I didn't. I have tried to even leave the product on for longer than recommend and it still didn't colour all of my hair effectively.
The parts of my hair that DO take, always look good and vibrant so I guess that is a plus. It also isn't drying and doesn't FEEL to have done any damage to my hair (but I also take really good care of my hair and other than hair colour, use high-end products). Unfortunately, the vibrancy doesn't last. It fades within just a few shampoo's and I'm quickly left with dull, washed out hair.
I recommend spending the extra amount and get a better hair colouring product or waiting for other products to go on sale.

I have used Garnier Color for more than 20 years. I have always received great results with this product. Stylist are always surprised how shiny & healthy my hair looks.

The best product for my hair. It protects from the dryness, covering all the grey and the price is the lowest. The choices of colors are very interesting. My hair is healthy and beautiful.

Good price and works great. Long lasting beautiful colour. Easy to apply and doesn't have a strong odor. Colour looks very natural. Would definitely recommend it.

Bought one box of brown, used it, and was left with orange roots. Purchased another box a few shades darker. It worked to cover my roots, but the colour was gone within a week. Not worth the time or money.

It washed out after 4 days of having done my hair not happy

Out of all of the hair dyes I have ever tried, this one is the worst. Not to be too harsh, but save your money! It is worth it to spend a little extra to buy the more expensive box dyes (if you use them). I have dyed my hair blonde many times before without any issues using other dyes. I decided to try this specific dye after seeing the cheaper price. My hair is naturally an ashy brown colour, and i was trying to get back to blonde once again. I purchased a darker ash blonde (instead of frying my hair by going directly to bleach),and a second box in a lighter colour. I ended up having to buy 3 different boxes of hair dye, a bleach creme hair colour remover, a box of brass reducer and eventually a dark brown. This is all because this dye seriously messed up my hair! The colour that resulted was not even close to the guidelines on the box, and my hair was all one natural colour. It ended up leaving my hair almost carrot orange and Simpson yellow. I was very disappointed. By opting for the cheaper dye, I ended up spending more in the long run and wasting my time.
I do not recommend this product!!

it costs as much as other hair color i have tried before. when i applied it, it's only supposed to stay for 20 minutes before you rinse it out but i let it stay way longer just so it would cover 100% of grey/white hair. unfortunately, it still did not , probably 80%.

the thing i liked though, usually with other hair coloring products, even after 3-5 washes there's still dye coming out of your hair and i hate that it keeps staining my towel. but with garnier belle color, it did what it said. after applying it on your hair and rinsing it out until the water runs clear, that's it. you won't see any dyes coming out anymore even after 3-5 washes or more. and the conditioner, i love that it really makes my hair smooth.

i liked the product because it gave me the shade i wanted, probably just won't work very well on white hair as compared to other hair coloring products.

Only color I will use. Gives awsome coverage and lasts. Love it!
