I found this razor to be like most womans razors...crappy!! Personally I use a mans razor, much better shave and way longer lasting.

I'm a huge fan of Venus razors and Olay products. This combo was a bit of a miss for me though. The first few uses are great. It lathers well and leaves your legs feeling silky smooth. By the third use the bars don't lather and if you don't use shaving cream your skin feels pretty dry after. I also found that the blades don't get as close as the original Venus does. Honestly, I prefer the original and good old shaving cream.

I want to say i love this product, because at first i was so excited and happy but i refuse to lie about something thats bad. It melted ! the lotion/ish bars completely melted so now it's just a normal razor that cuts me... i threw it out told the company, they sent us a coupon and we got new razors. i will never use them again, whats the point i used it once? and it melted off

I got this razor using a coupon from P&G;. The razor was an okay but the cartridge pack that I had to buy with it was outrageous! It worked nice, it was smooth, and alright to clean, and the moisture bars did last through the entire shave and I could use them again during my next shave, but I don't think I'll be buying it again afterI use the refills I had to buy with the coupon. Maybe if I get a coupon for a free refill or like... 10$ off a refill, but other than that, I'll stick to my other razors.

I decided to give this rasor a try as I have never used moisure-bar razors before.. I had a $10 off coupon from shoppers so I got it for $6.00. I would never pay full-price for this razor. It feels great and seems to work well but I still get stubble the next day and I really don't find it to be all that moisurizing. The refills are very expensive at $22 for 3 refills.. I just don't think it's worth the price - especially since I don't really see or feel a big difference from my usual mens razor!

I didn't really notice a difference from any other that Venus offers. It left my skin feeling the same as usual. The price for the refills are RIDICULOUS!

For many years, I have steered clear of women's razors because I find that there are too many gimmicks involved with the product that detract from it's actual ability to shave. I prefer men's razors overall because they tend to be much sharper than women's, and they last longer
That being said, when I saw that Chick Advisor was offering a product review club for venus razors, I decided to sign up to be able to try some out
The particular venus razor that is in affiliation with Olay is supposed to offer more moisture while shaving, while the five blades are supposed to offer a close shave. When I first used this razor, right off the bat I didn't like the Olay moisture bar at all. I found that they got goopy when they got wet, and they got in the way of the actual razor blades when I was trying to shave, so overall, I didn't end up with a clean shave. Second of all, the razor comes with an attachment that is supposed to suction to your shower wall - well, mine keeps falling off, so that wasn't a very good addition.
The idea of having a razor that doubles as shaving cream is a good idea, but I just don't think this particular product is well executed. I would rather use a men's razor shaving cream and get a nice clean shave the first time, then have to go over the area multiple times, and still not be satisfied when all is said and done.

I received this razor in the Product Review Club. Out of all the razors I received, this was my least favourite. Yes, the smell was very nice (but I can get that out of any shaving lotion). I found that the little soap bar doesn't last that long, so then I'm just ended with a regular razor. Like some of the other reviewers, I didn't find that I got a very close shave. It could be because of the blades or the soap bar, I'm not sure. But I didn't have to go over part a couple times to get close to the skin, which increased my shaving time. I would not recommend this razor, nor would I purchase it in the future. Venus has many other better razors out there.

I am not crazy about this at all. I could not get a close shave and felt stubble even right after I was finished shaving. The lotion bars smell awesome, but didn't seem to help the razor glide over my skin, and they shriveled up before the razor was no good anymore. Just seems like it would be a waste of money to buy the (Very expensive) refill cartridges.

I used this just last night and I did enjoy the silky feeling my legs had after using this product with attached shave soap. though I did notice it got a little slimey near the end, and it melted pretty quickly. I'm not sure how long it would actually last. Also I'm not a huge fan of the attached soap bars in general, so this wasn't my favourite product. But my legs are still soft today and I think it has to do with the lovely Olay moisturizers...

I'm so/so on this. I still love the tried and true Original Venus razor blades....
