No regrets going out for
I have a gluten intolerance, not quite as bad as having Celiacs but I definitely know when I've accidentally ingested gluten. It typically takes a day or two to feel like myself again. I was able to try Gluteguard twice- once for going out for dinner and another before Appy night at friends. When we went out for dinner I still ate a GF meal so I'm not sure if it was the pill or there was not cross contamination. I ate a few crackers at our friends house and I can 100% say I didn't feel anything afterwards when I normally would. I will keep using this on days when I'm going out and not 100% confident I'm about to eat GF food.
Works great
I am impressed with this product. I frequently fear eating certain foods due to the effects I feel afterwards, and with this product I can happily eat with confidence, both at home and out in public. I will by again.
Effective
I took a pill each time I went out to eat during the month and I think it helped with bloating. I'm new on this gluten-free journey as a newly diagnosed celiac and have had a hard time adjusting when it comes to possible cross-contamination. I don't tend to get overt symptoms when glutened, which has made the transition much harder, but the GluteGuard pills have made that so much easier.
I think it works?
I think this stuff works, the issue I've got is you have to take it prior to accidental consumption. The problem is that means I'm potentially taking it every single time I go out for dinner, or if I'm having dinner at someone's house. While this product is better than not having anything, I would rather not run the risk of accidentally consuming gluten. I feel like this is a bit of a double-edged sword, if I don't take something I'm going to feel like garbage, if I do take something then it feels like I'm using it as a crutch in case I might consume something. Overall I guess I would say that this product is great if you are worried about accidental consumption, specially for those people that don't eat out frequently. If you are the type of person that eats out on a regular basis, then this might not be the best product for you. That said I definitely will keep this product on hand regularly.
Works good!
Works good for mild gluten intolerance! Id imagine for people with more serious gluten intolerance it wouldn’t help too much but potentially take the edge off
It Really Works
I am too happy to have gluteguard with me. It really worked. No flareups, no cramps., no bloating. You can have peace of mind while you eat. It is highly recommended.
Because accidents happen…
This simple to use product helps to prevent the symptoms associated with accidental gluten ingestion. One little pill is all that is required, leading to relief in a reasonable amount of time!
Peace of mind!
This has saved me multiple times from stomach upset when traveling to places that don’t understand gluten sensitivities or thyroid-related gluten allergies! I totally recommend this! Can't travel without it!
Great to help with the bloat and pains
It took me a while to get out and eat where I could be affected, but I did it! While this item isn’t 100% and will take away all the hurt from ingesting gluten. I found the stomach pains and gas was less of an issue which felt amazing!
Fir Peace Of Mind Alone
While I try to stick to a gluten free diet (gluten intolerant, not celiac) it cam feel nearly impossible when it comes to cooked meals. Dishes and appliances seem to always become contaminated by housemates eventually nomatter how strict and careful I try to be.
Having something to take when I know trace contaminatoon is present is huge for me. I don't have to worry about if risking a hot meal also means my merve pai flaring up. This stuff is great!
