This is a great set of 5 jewelry storage cases. Each storage case has a black clamshell / hinged frame with clear plastic interior. Simply push on one side of the frame (where you see the "open" label), and the case will open. Then you can place your necklace on the bottom plastic base and close. The top plastic base will close snugly over your necklace and hold it in place.

Obviously these will work great for travel by protecting your necklaces and by keeping the chain from tangling. The plastic layer feels quite thin, so I am not sure how well it will hold up to punctures. I don't really want to test this out on mine in case they break.

Most of my necklaces fit in this storage box. The plastic is flexible enough to accommodate earrings that for the most part lay flat, as well as rings. My husband's thicker wedding band fit in one of these. Some of my earrings that had stud backs that could not lay flat would not fit in one of these. any jewelry that protrudes too much will not fit.

These are great, do the job they are meant to do, and appear well made. I would recommend these as a handy travel accessory.
