Knorr makes great gravy packets. Yes, I could make my own with flour, butter and spices, but this is so convenient, adds great flavour to my dishes and is very affordable. I also like to put a pouch into my homemade soups to substitute for salt and thicken my broth. Great!

This gravy mix is richer and beefier than a few alternate gravy packet mixes I’ve used in the past.

It cooks in under 10 minutes, but DOES require TLC – ensure you whisk the pot constantly, or it ends up sticking to the bottom of the pot and ends up with balls of the powder within it.

It is a thin to medium thickness, and pours nicely onto chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and whatever else you want to use gravy for.

The sodium level is 15% of our daily intake…but really – it’s gravy. Gravy isn’t for healthy eating - It’s a delicious treat!

Husband also used it for our Stew this week, and it made the flavour amazing!
