Lacks flavour and

I was excited to try this sidekick with my dinner tonight. When I read the ingredients I was surprised to find out that it was cooked in water and not milk. Because of this it lacked the creaminess that I was expecting.

I liked the fact that the pasta was gluten free as it was made with brown rice.

I found overall that this side just lacked the flavour and creaminess that I was hoping for. I don't think that I would purchase it again.

Easy dinner

This Knorr Spinach Florentine penne pasta adds to any meal quick and tasty. We enjoyed this for dinner last night. Kids couldn't tell it has spinach in it. A win win for all!

Very yummy, easy to make!

This was a great addition to my kitchen. It was quick, easy, and tasted great! I like how the spinach really looked like spinach after it cooked, and wasn’t just a flaky powder. I would absolutely buy this again. Works great as a small side dish, as a main for 1 or 2 people, and likely would add something nice to a casserole.

Makes a good side

I received this product for free through the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. It was really quick and easy to make. The flavour leaves something to be desired. Not really complex in terms of flavour profile. It made a decent amount and was a good add on to the meal. Wouldn't be substantial enough for dinner on its own.

All you need is water

I received Knorr Selects Spinach Florentine with Penne Pasta as a free sample to try and give my review. For this flavour all you need is a pot and water. Takes about 10 minutes to cook up and needs to sit for 5 minutes to thicken. Was good while hot but started to dislike and could not finish once it started cooling down. I can see this being okay for a last minute option but I don't think I would purchase this one. I ended up throwing out at least half of the cooked product. Received this product through the family review club, and I'm happy to say I got the chance to try it out! It was easy to make, and fantastic to improvise with meat and vegetables. I found the taste to be natural and flavourful.

It'll Do

This gluten-free, no preservatives, no artificial flavours side dish is…..OK. It’s easy to prepare; one pot, 10 minutes and voila, you’re done. It doesn’t have a lot of flavour, but its’s got a nice creamy texture that would go with just about anything. You could also ‘bling’ it up by adding more spinach, as there isn't a lot of it in the package, or by adding peas or corn. The sodium content is creeping up there too. I’m not sure this would ever make the cut as a staple in my home, but I suppose, in a pinch, it’ll do. Easy and tasty

I received this variety for free to try. It taste so good that you can not believe it comes in a package. I not always have time to cook and I don't want to either always eat the same meal for to order take out. I think it is a really good option for working mom's.

Gooey Deliciousness!

Was so delighted to receive the email stated I would be able to try this product for free and was even more ecstatic when I received the product and got to try it. I will definitely purchase this product in the future. I purchase Knorr sidekicks as something to have on hand but I can honestly say that this was one of the best I've ever tried. It was so gooey and delicious. It smelled and tasted great. There was a perfect amount of spinach but I also believe that you could add more vegetables and it would taste great. It's a very versatile product. I made it by itself, cooking the package according to the instructions, did not add anything but the water that it asked for and loved it. I wish the package was a bit bigger, not because I felt like I needed more...it was definitely enough to make me full but because I enjoyed it so much that I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a quick and delicious dinner after a long day at work. All you need to cook this product is water, nothing else! This product is good to have on hand in your pantry, for when you don't feel like "cooking". It's also a very decent price for the quality. I will definitely purchase this product in the future.

Tasted better when fresh

I have to say I was mildly disappointed with this one. The instructions were super easy to follow and it was very quick to get on the table. However, there were not enough spinach pieces in the packaging to call this "spinach florentine". I had to make up for the "loss" by adding some peas and corn. It tasted decent but was nothing different from the pasta I usually make at home. We had leftovers unfortunately and noticed that after some time, the penne pasta had absorbed all the sauce and doubled in size. You lose a lot of the texture and taste if you're thinking of pre-cooking this and taking it to school or work. Very thankful I #gotitfree to try!
