Salty but good in a pinch!

I had only two issues with this pasta from Knorr: it really stank up the house while I was cooking it, and the sodium content is WAY higher than I even expected. This pack contains about 60% of your daily sodium, information which has been conveniently left out of a lot of the online listings where you can buy this pasta.

Because of the sodium, I would recommend NOT eating this alone. It’s a good lunch size for one person, but also works as a side dish for 2 or 3, and it brings down the amount of sodium to a much lower level that way. Thankfully sharing it should be easy, as this pasta tastes great. I used a bit of milk to replace some of the water, for a creamier taste, and it was really delicious. It is on the salty side, but not too strong for my liking.

The pasta itself is actually very easy to prepare, just add it to boiling water and then simmer/stir for about ten minutes. It’s simple enough that you can mostly leave it to cook while you finish cooking the rest of the meal, which is useful when you aren’t great at multitasking in the kitchen.

Overall, despite high sodium, I think this is a great pasta dish and something I would gladly buy again. I do think they could decrease the sodium though and actually have a better taste due to it.

Easy supper

This came together really easy and quick. Perfect week night meal when you are in a hurry. Adding extra veggies helps it last a little longer. My family really enjoyed this.

KNORR SELECTS SPINACH FLORENTINE WITH PENNE PASTA - Tasty!

I really enjoyed the KNORR SELECTS SPINACH FLORENTINE WITH PENNE PASTA. It was quick and went over well with the family. If I remember correctly, we didn't even need milk, which was perfect for when you need a quick side dish and don't have milk in the fridge ,which is often for us.

I'd bu it again

Really enjoyed it, tasted really yummy I've had 2 of the other sides and enjoyed this one the best. Great as a side but really liked it on its own. I added chicken to give it a bit more and it turned out great.

Another dish added to our supper today thanks to @familyrated and @Knorr One Skillet Meals. I am a huge fan of cheese and spinach . My family seemed that they enjoyed as well more this dish just because of the ingredients , very well known and most cooked It claims that is no artificial colours and flavours and I like that .

Lovely mixture

I received this product for free for my opinion and this was a lovely mixture.I am a fan of spinach and pasta together so this was quite he taste and texture wasn't bad as well.Love the flavour would love to enjoy this again for a side dish amazing.

Great Quality, better ingredients

This product was much better then other quick to make pastas. The ingredients are much healthier and it still tastes great! I will be buying Knorr Quick Skillet meals again and again.

Yes Please More Knorr!

I was most pleased to have been chosen to review the Knorr Selects side dishes. The first I cooked was the spinach Florentine with penne pasta. The recipe calls for water but in hind sight I think milk would have made the sauce creamier, which was the one thing I found a bit lacking. The dish tasted a bit watery, or at the very least it was a bit thin. I quite liked the pasta but my family wasn’t as keen and as a result it’s unlikely I’d buy this flavour again.

Easy peasy

I am loving this one pouch meals. Yes they are preserved, but what can a girl do when she is on one of those lazy days or those days where she can’t care for anything.

It’s interesting to see how Knorr incorporated spinach into the mix and not just herb and spices for taste. The penne in here could be larger, but I am just turning picky now. Overall this product was good, good flavour, easy instructions, and sort of mess free. Will I buy again? Probably as those stash in shelf emeregency foods.
