This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I love to read and we travel a lot, so this prevents me from having to lug a few books with me to last the duration of the vacation. I love the e-ink technology and the fact that I can read in the sunlight and there is no issue with glare. Everyone should have an e-reader!!!

I got a Kobo Touch for Christmas and loved it so much I got my husband one for his birthday two weeks later! Now we both curl up in bed at night with our Kobos. I'm a big reader and probably spend at least 15 hours a week using this.

It's nice that you can have several books on the go and it remembers your position in each.

I love that it's so lightweight and easy to use, I can even fit it in the back pocket of my jeans! I also like that books I buy on it are also read-able on my iphone/ipad through the Kobo app.

My one complaint has to do with e-readers in general. From my understanding I'm basically stuck with Kobo from now on as the books aren't transferable to Kindles or other e-readers.

    Easy to use, love it!

i have had this e-reader for a year now and i love it, the battery stays charged for a long time, i can read it for 3 hours every night and have it last a week or more! it looks exactly like i'm reading a book and it can hold so many books on it, so far i have 400 books, and if you go onto kobo's website there are lots of free books to chose from along with a wide range of books you can buy, and the prices are very very reasonable, instead of paying $20 for a book in the store you would only have to pay $5! i love it and would recommend it to anyone!

My husband bought me this Kobo Touch eReader for Christmas, but from what I can tell they sell for around $140 plus tax. I can tell you that the Kobo Touch eReader was Wired Magazine's 2012 Editor's pick for best reader. It has a 6" glare-free E ink screen, a natural touch navigation. It's just like reading a real book. It's nice and light and comfortable in your hands. Kobo is travel friendly so you can take it along with you any where you go, it has a soft quilt look back, so it looks good too. With the large cover images, multiple views, predictive search and a special list you can keep track of your favorite books. The Kobo has a signal home button so with just one button navigation is easier. The Kobo has USB connection and optional SD memory. To turn the pages you can either tap the screen or swipe your finger across the screen. If you want to highlight a word, or passage from a book your reading, all you have to do is what they call "long press". Do this to the word to bring up the highlighting tool. You can then save your favorite passage, or look up a word in the built in Merriam Webster dictionary. You can zoom in 200% on an image-intensive PDF's. The Kobo Touch eReader has so much to offer you that I just can't list them all on here, but if you are looking for a eReader, or you want to replace the eReader you already have, then I highly recommend you at least give the Kobo Touch eReader web site a look over before you buy any new eReader. Back in August I purchased a Kobo Touch EReader with money I was given for my birthday (early bday present)

I've always been a book lover and my mom already had a Sony EReader which she loves. For the price, style and capabilities I chose a Kobo Touch Ereader. The EReader has already paid for itself because I've read about 20 books now and have tons more to go. I am able to download Ebooks from my library for free and there are many websites that offer free Ebooks as well.

The EReader is super light, compact and goes anywhere! As long as you have a purse that can fit a normal paperback book you can take your Kobo Touch Ereader anywhere! The battery life is pretty good as I can read a couple books and not have to recharge the battery. The only downside for some is there is no AudioBook capability, but since I don't use them I don't mind at all.

I completely recommend any book lover buy this EReader.

Actualllly, I just love the Kobo touch ereader. It is about $10.00 less, just came out in early July and you touch the screen on the right to turn pages. Sure I had problems in the beginning, because it froze up, but once you get past the glitches, it's a great ereader. I would never buy anything else!!!

I got this recently and I must say that I love it. I go everywhere with it. This new ereader is light and the size is much smaller than the original eReader. Even though the size is smaller, the screen size is the same. This one offers the touch technology where everything is touch screen except for the home button. It also has wifi so you can download books anywhere as long as you have internet connection. The page turning is also faster with this eReader in comparison to the original one.
