I have combination-oily/ hyperpigmentation spotted skin, you know, the stuff girls have nightmares about.
I had wanted a good primer for quite a while but was iffy on spending my hard earned money on a $40 2 oz. tube of a high end base. After buying this on a whim, i immediately tested it and used way too much, my face felt oily and my makeup slid off my face after a few hours. After that wondrous disaster i tried using it very sparingly on top of The Body Shop seaweed mattifying day cream and WOW. My skin had never looked so good and my makeup had never stayed on so long before. It,thankfully, didn't allow my foundation and concealer to settle in those pesky little fine lines under my eyes and didn't cause the milia to return there. I ended up using it on my sister's dry/combination skin once and she cannot stop raving about it. I would reccomend this to anyone at all. Oily/dry/normal, it doesn't matter, this stuff is amazing. I'm on my second purchase of this now and i can't see myself not repurchasing this in the future.

Omg, You have to put this on before you put on your foundation or concelar! amazing!! Theres no imperfections!!! Love it!! Yay!! lol

This primer is Great :) It makes your pores disappear and reduces your fine lines ! ( I don't have a lot of pores nor fine lines but still :P ) It makes your makeup last longer and makes your skin feel so smooth :) Your foundation will glide on like a dream :) However, I have heard people complain about they're skin looking oily after a while, so I don't think that this primer is great for oily skins. I think it's better for Normal skin and maybe combination ? One thing I hate about this product is THA PRICE ! OMG! It's 15$ :O It's drugstore man ! ( but don't get me wrong, the quality is definitely HIGH END ) but still, drugstores should have drugstore prices haha ! Thank god I got it on sale ^^ What else ? Um, It didn't make me break out and it didn't irritate my skin. Finally, It has everything you should want in a primer :) At least, us normal-skin-type girls :D

I really love this primer! I have never purchased a primer before this, although I have used various brands before from samples. This is the only one that has ever gotten me convinced! (hence, the purchase)

Here are the things I love about it:
- it goes on super smooth, and has a luxurious texture
- it instantly matifies the skin for a perfecting effect before applying foundation!
- it is unscented, and it does not irritate my very sensitive skin
- The price is under 15$ for a highly effective and high quality product!
- it makes the application of foundation 10X easier and more 'perfect'

Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone with normal, sensitive skin! :)

This product is AMAZING! For 14.95CAD (at WalMart and Rexall) it's practically a steal for what it is. The primer is Silicone based and smooths over my uneven textured skin for a perfect base for all foundations. I use it everytime I wear a at thick foundation and it prevents me from breaking out! Totally worth it!

When I first saw this I thought "how good could it be" - it was better than I expected. I have very odd skin - oily but dry, first wrinkles along with some pimples and this cream makes my skin smooth, poreless and as close to flawless as it has been in years! I would fully recommend this product to anyone who needs an extra bit of help either on its own or before foundation.

I have honestly never used a base as great as this. Totally blew Quo out of the water (but the Quo primer is still wonderful)
This base works really well to cover up visible pours and evens out bumps on the skin, and it makes your face as smooth as a babies bottom! Hurray for touchable skin!
The absolute best thing about this product though is that a little goes a long way, I have used this product for over a month now and still working the top. Just a little dab in the bottle and it will cover your whole face, which is find amazing! I'm usually pumping and dabbing endlessly to get a good base for my foundation.

I got a tub of this backstage during fashion week. They said that this was their secret weapon. I was excited to try. I've always used and primer and I think that they make such a huge difference. When you first open it, the pink cream like texture sort of scared me. I didn't really know how to apply it. So i just got some on my finger tips and applied it like regular moisturizer. Let it settle and then applied my makeup. I also used this primer on several of the beauty tutorials here. I find that if you have great moisturized skin, this spreads like a dream and fills in pores nicely, creating a nice canvas. But if you have dry patches, the primer sort of accentuates it. It's a little tough to spread, but using your fingers to warm it up or slighting dab with a sponge works fine. The primer does make a nice base, brightens a little bit and makes foundation application a bit easier and smoother. It does contain silicone, so gals who are sensitive, beware. I'm used to buying primers that are around $40 so this is comparable.

I have always had combination skin, however the little lines and bigger pores didn't come on until my 30's. I asked some friends and did some research on how I could diminish these flaws. I read many reviews of "primers" and how they generally make a person greasy or discolored or caused make up to separate. I was not discouraged and went to the store and asked the sales person what she thought of various products, she was helpful and recommended the L'oreal Professional Series line. I gave it a shot and figured if it didn't work I could bring it back per the store return policy.
The next morning I got up and got ready and was shocked by the results.
I am amazed with this product. It goes on silky smooth and even. When I put my foundation on after the primer it went on just as smooth as the primer. The L'oreal Secret No. 1 helped reduce the visibility of pores and the fine lines around my eyes and mouth.
As the day went on I was wondering if my face looked like an oil slick, but to my amazement it was fairly still a matte finish! It was not running down in any way!
