Finally found something for my sensitive skin

Having a sensitive skin is really hard, I got a sample from La Mer the concentrate some weeks ago, and I simply loved the results, I had been struggling why dry skin and my face looked very damaged, after I used for the first time, my face felt simply amazing.

The dreaded & beloved La Mer

La Mer seems to be one of the most controversial brands out there when it comes to those who love La Mer & who despises La Mer. It also comes down to how much someone is willing to pay for something that they personally enjoy. I don’t use the term “Holy Grail” for any skincare products bc I just have not found one product that I have loved so much and used consistently every single day at the same time while not knowing what I would do if I didn’t have it (excluding SPF, but, I personally categorize SPF as more medicinal instead of just the regular OTC skincare products like Serums or Concentrates). I wouldn’t go so far as to call this my holy grail, however, it is one product that I have repurchased solely bc it works…for me & I enjoy it. I see this being a “powerhouse” when it comes to its category mainly in part due to the “miracle broth” found in every product. I like the process of the Kelp producing Lactic Acid within their formulas. Reformulated to provide new anti-oxidant benefits has made this even better in my opinion. This leaves a velvety after-feel that creates a barrier without making that barrier noticeable or bothersome much like those using heavy silicones. After I have dermaplaned or used the dermabrasion machine & waited a few days this is what I reach for to help with the recovery process. Any irritation I may be experiencing is soothed almost instantly. I could skip moisturizing for quite a while using this if I really wanted to. The negative aspect associated with this Concentrate though is, of course, that price tag. It is a costly item that runs about $200 for .5oz, $400 for 1oz, $550 for 1.7oz & all the way up to nine hundred dollars for 3.4oz….for a facial product. There is no justifying the price tag because it is honestly ridiculous and I would be lying if I said I thought it was sincerely worth that kind of mark up. I personally ONLY purchase this because of how long I can stretch it out by using sparingly. If you like the product and you have the money to treat yourself you absolutely should. Is it worth every single penny though? That will be depend on results & how The Concentrate itself performs on your skin.

The miracle broth that i love.

Awesome scent, feels great on the skin and I love the packaging too. Larger size, more for your money . Lovely and pure, smells amazing and works as a facial soap instead of cleanser.

It’s great!

La Mer the Concentrate is really a powerful serum, you can see the visible results right away. It feels so good on my skin... very smooth and hydrating, has a very pleasant scent, feels very luxurious!

If only this was affordable!

I enjoyed using this product. I applied this after cleansing and while I can't exactly put my finger on what it was, my skin definitely looked and felt hydrated, plump and glowing.

My only downside is the price of this brand- it's not accessible for most people to try.

Rejuvenation in a bottle

The product is amazing! Applies smoothly and absorbs into skin nicely. You can tell this is a quality product since the ingredients list is super short, and that a little bit goes a long way. Make my skin really soft, supple, and moisturized after application.

The Miracle Broth works wonders!

Lamer concentrate is really good serum. It consists of that magical broth which melts as u apply and just need a very little quantity. I apply it at night time and have seen the visible difference in just a week. It reduces puffiness in your eyes area n reduces wrinkles in your face and gives you immense hydration. Thumbs up! Would highly recommend it.

Premium serum at a premium price

I received this product sample for free. I've used it twice now after morning fqce washing. At the end of both days my face still felt clean, soft and clear. Although the price tag is hefty, if its within your means I would highly suggest this serum.

Amazing but super expensive

I have received a free sample so I can’t give a review on long term effects. It lasted me for few applications since you just need a small amount for face and neck. The smell is amazing: relaxing and calming that it seems to be in a beauty Spa. It leaves the skin silky and soft and it’s the perfect base for the moisturizer as it absorbs very quickly. The only downside (a big one!) is the super expensive price.
