I don't like the idea of buying multiple colours for contouring when the marketing states that the stick can be used for highlighting and contouring which is misleading. Once the stick is applied to the skin and it settles, the product looks ashy which I did not like

Thank you ChickAdvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product. I have used a number of Lancome products in the past and find them to be of good quality. This foundation stick is no exception. It goes on smooth and provides adequate coverage without looking cakey. I will definitely use this product again.

it's a shame I wasn't able to try the other shades for highlighting/contouring as I would have like to have seen how those all blended together.

But based on my experience of using it as a foundation, I would say that it works well.

I received the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra makeup stick for free from ChickAdvisor in order to test this product. I got the 320 Bisque W to use as a highlight. It goes on really smooth and creamy and blends well, even with just fingers. It's so lightweight that you don't feel like your wearing any makeup. It helped cover my dark circles under my eyes, which is great. I noticed that it does in fact slightly transfer, but much less than the average. My skin tends to be dry this time of year and I found that it made my few dry patches more noticeable.
The biggest downside to this product is the higher than I'm used to price tag. Although I must say that a little goes a long way so perhaps it evens out.

Pros: First off the packaging is very regal, it makes me feel a bit better about spending $50+ on this make up stick. Like it is so nice looking that I felt bad using it. The feel of the make up stick is regal as well. I loved the look. The shade sent me to was a bit off of my skin tone but I could still see how effective this was. The make up offered a high amount of coverage without looking caked on.

Cons: I did break out near my mouth while using this but I do have that problem sometimes with makeup if it blocks pores. Also for the dollar amount of this make up stick I don't see how it would make sense to use it as a foundation stick. It would run out very fast. I understand using it as a spot concealer ect but as a foundation I dunno.

Overall I really liked this product. I only used it for 3 days so I don't have a full breadth of experience using it but this far I enjoyed it. Would I buy it though? I would have to say no. For the price I feel like I could purchase excellent comparables. You are paying for the Name.

I am so happy that I got to test out and review the #LancomeTIUstick. As someone who always uses a cream contour product for my everyday makeup routine, I knew that this would be an all star. I'll admit that I was a bit unimpressed by the packaging, as I wish the tube covered the entire stick of foundation. I'm always scared to nick the stick with the cap! All in all, the foundation felt very light on the skin, and extremely pigmented. The shade 420 BISQUE (N) is a really nice warm contour shade for my very light complexion. I can't speak too much to the oil-free claim, though it did stay in place all day long - definitely no smudging.

I prefer the convenient stick to a pan of cream contour product that I need to pick up with a brush. I used my e.l.f. Studio Mineral Powder brush to blend in the product once it was on my face (See images above for my routine). No product was wasted on the brush. I would surely recommend this product to my friends, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the lighter shades work as foundation.

I got this for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

I was lucky enough to try this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor review club. I'll start off by saying that I wish I received this earlier so that I had more time to test it out.

First impression: glides on smoothly, very creamy and a little goes a long way. I swatched it on my arm first to get my first impressions and it was on for about a minute before I decided to try to blend it. It took a little effort to get it blended and once it was, it stayed put. It was transfer resistant (as the packaging said). Great first impression.

I finally got to use my full sized sample today and I'm glad I swatched it first. I had received my contouring shade so I knew to use just a small amount. It applied like butter and knowing that I didn't have too much time to blend, I blended right away.

Wearing it over a primer and foundation, this lasted the whole (shorter) day and didn't budge. I have more oily skin so I'm impressed. There also wasn't any oxidization so the colour stayed true.

The one thing I was concerned about was the sunscreen in it because I'm allergic to most makeup with sunscreen. I'll have to do an update as I won't know until tomorrow if my skin reacted to it.

So far, love how it applies, blends and it's longevity. Unfortunately, because I received my contour colour and not a foundation colour, I can't comment on it's coverage. I also can't give it a 5 stars all-around only because I had a day to try this out.

Thanks ChickAdvisor and Lancome for the opportunity to test this one out. I'm excited to try this a little longer in my routine.

I think this product is very creamy and blendable very easy to manipulate into a contour. The shade is somewhat more on the more tan side as oppose to something that is suppose to mimic a shadow on the face. I believe that the actual foundation stick used ass a foundation is probably wonderful. I wish I had more of a chance to use this product unfortunately it had just arrived to me two days ago which was kind of a bummer. The formula is soft and pigmented exactly what you are looking for in a stick foundation especially for my oily skin type. The packaging is beautiful and sleek perfect for travel and everyday.

This is supposed to be a 24-hour wear, highly pigmented, foundation stick that provides high coverage in a super-gliding, weightless texture for a matte finish. I have dry/combo skin and some old acne scar and this foundation goes on smoothly and covers my acne scars so well. I find that it oxidizes a little bit and gets darker which I dislike. Apart from that, it didn't feel heavy. It didn't cake up on me and the rest of my face makeup stayed on well over it. The texture is weightless and the application is flawless. This is my 3rd stick foundation and I’m really impressed. The product is very creamy, easy to apply and has good coverage with a matte finish. I love the packaging; so nice and sleek and travel friendly. I #gotitfree from ChickAdvisor to test and review!

I got this product from ChickAdvisor (#gotitfree) to use as a foundation. I received the Buff 210 shade (neutral).
I found the TIU stick to live up to it's claims. It is lightweight, oil free, and transfer and smudge resistant. It is acne friendly (oil free and noncomedogenic) and certainly didn't aggravate my acne. It's also easy to use and not heavy at all!
The only cons would be that it looks slightly greyish when I put it on, but looks more natural as the day passes by. It also is quite expensive for a 9 grams product ($53 retail price).
The only other foundation stick I used years ago was the Leilani stick and this one is quite a bit lighter in texture and easier to spread.
I'm not quite sure whether I'd purchase this, due to the price and looking slightly greyish. I'll continue using it and see how it goes.
