When I started using this oil I also switched my primer and broke out like crazy! So I have to stop using it, let my skin clear up and started again. Well I don’t think it was the oil that caused me to break out. My not the biggest fan of this oil, there’s nothing really bad about it, but nothing makes me go wow. It has a bit of a scent, nothing I can pick up on, the “bottle” is unique and travel friendly. The “dispenser” is something new for me for oil, but you just tip upside down and shake and a few drops will come out, I have thicker toners and essences that are like this. To me this packaging is a pain; I can never get the right amount of oil out. I always end up with too much oil and I don’t find that my normal to oily skin absorbs the oil like it will with other brands. So an hour later most of the oil isn’t absorbed in, but my pillow case takes care of the extra oil… :( … Then in the morning I didn’t find that my skin looked any different than it did when using my normal night moisturizer. Due to how it played with my skin, there’s no way I would be able to use it during the day and I can’t see anyone else being able to either, unless they are extremely dry.

The Lipidol Overnight Face Oil is meant to be applied before bed. It’s very lightly fragranced with Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils, but as with all three oils I tried from Lipidol I didn’t really notice the scent. It’s definitely a heavier oil so it doesn’t take much and I feel comfortable using it instead of a moisturizer on its own. I am prone to breakouts and using this oil didn’t cause any–if anything my skin looks softer.

The oil felt nice on my skin and didn't smell which is a major consideration in my household. My son said I looked shiny but my skin felt great in the morning.

I have been skeptical about oils but finally decided to give one a try. I love how it actually felt light and not heavy at all. It also absorbed in pretty quickly so I didn't find I felt or looked oily after. I only just wonder how my summer skin will handle it.

I was happy to be able to receive Lipidol Overnight Face Oil for free to try and I like that Lipidol Overnight Face Oil is not too heavy, I actually used it as a morning oil once in a while because it absorbed fast. I do prefer a cream to put on at night but as far as an oil goes it was surprisingly light and didn't have a strong smell.

My skin use to feel so dull all the time, does not matter what type of cream I put on my face...I tried like so many. But this one was very effective,

I have dry, sensitive skin and was excited to test out the Lipidol Overnight Face Oil. I generally use an oil moisturizer and had heard great things about Lipidol. I used it with the Face Cleansing Oil as my only skincare for a week (7 days) and was mostly happy with the results.

My skin was very soft in the morning and the Overnight Oil did not feel greasy or heavy on my face. I used it as both a day and night moisturizer for the first 2 days and found that this was a bit too much for my skin. The Overnight Oil is definitely best used at night. I did suffer a small breakout on my chin after 4 days of using both products.

I would recommend Lipidol Overnight Face Oil for dry skin and it was great in the winter months.

this product did just an ok job moisturizing my face overnight. i have dry cheeks and i found that when i awoke, my cheeks did not feel as supple as I had expected (i have tried other face oils in the past and found them to be better at moisturizing). I also was not a fan of the scent of the oil.

I received this face oil in exchange for an honest review AND to be honest, I don't know if this did anything, but I do know what it didn't do... it didn't make my oily skin worse, nor did it make me break out. This was easy to use and a pretty neat idea too. I enjoyed using it.

I broke out slightly from using this along with the Lipidol cleansing oil so I've only been using it on extra dry areas like my cheeks. It makes my skin feel really nice, smooth & silky but it's not something I can use regularly. So far I've been using it a couple times a week & it's been fine. I really like it but wish it was something I could use more often.
