    not for me

I purchased this product as it was on sale, so thought I would try it. I would not purchase again as it made my hair feel like horse tail. Every time I washed my hair colour came out

    Platinum did not work

I have dark blonde/light brown hair and I tried to use the Feria platinum blonde box. I knew it was likely a bad idea to just grab a kit for that hair colour, but I specifically chose Feria because it looked less yellow in the picture than other brands' "platinum". It was Not. Less. Yellow. It turned out the worst brassy blonde I have ever seen in my life. (It looks okay in photos I took but it was such a bright yellow i didn't even want to leave the house) There was no toner included, only a small amount of "antibrass conditioner" which won't really do the job.

The quantity wasn't quite enough either, I have jaw length hair and it just barely covered it and was still streaky. There was no mention anywhere of needing multiple boxes for longer hair but you would probably need 3+ kits to cover it if your hair is thick or past shoulder length.

The best way to get a good neutral blonde on your own is to buy developer, bleach, and toner separately.

To be fair of course it does lighten your hair, since it is bleach after all, but the final result will not look like the picture on the box.

Useless for dark and hard hair

It useless if you are one of the Asian girls who had dark and hard hair, I used it following the instruction and the color of my hair doesn't change at all. It may be useful for the girl who had light and soft hair.

Right off the hop u get great col9r... but it fades rapidly to a dull lifeless unhappy color. Wouldn't recommend at all. I tried a few different shades of red as that's my color and I found myself consistently unimpressed

I bought the darkest brown possible to match my natural shade and the roots are now about 2 shades lighter than the ends of my hair. The silver strands turned golden as well.

I'm very disappointed in this hair colour. After carefully going over every colour in the aisle, I chose #66 Very Rich Auburn in hopes of going from my natural light brown to a red that was deep enough to be natural, yet still be obviously red. The product itself is easy to assemble and apply, and is the same messiness as any other liquid hair dye. I dye my hair often myself so I can do it fairly quickly with little mess. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't stain my sink, but that should have been a warning sign of the quality of the dye. I have pretty light brown hair, and afterwards only the roots seemed red, and an orangey-red at that. The ends of my hair are a slightly darker brown now, with a tiny of red. After two washes the colour is almost all gone! The bottle of dye is fairly large, I bought two boxes thinking I'd need both for my chest-length hair but only ended up needing one, which was nice. I have since returned the second box though, because for $12 it definitely wasn't worth it. The only good thing about this is that I got a three part sample of L'Oreal shampoo, conditioner and hair mask in the box, and the deep conditioning treatment is really nice. The hair dye also didn't dry out my hair at all, which is a bonus. Maybe I just picked an unfortunate shade, but for me the colour just didn't deliver for the price. Won't be purchasing this dye again.

This product was the very first hair dye I ever tried (in a sorta auburny red colour). Nothing amazing but nothing terrible. its a find on sale and snatch it for a quick fix or change kinda hair dye, IMO.
    Was a decent price.
    was a decent colour.
    was a decent conditioner.
but didnt last long, didnt make it extra smooth or shiny, and smelt awful (wait..what hair dye smells good tho)
was good nuff! but not #1

I use to use this brand of dye when I wanted very bright red hair a few years ago. Before I always found it turned out exactly how I wanted. So I decided to give it another try to be brighter for the Spring/Summer. I bought 77 Bright red Auburn. Knowing quite a lot about hair colouring I knew my roots might be brighter than the rest etc because usually you can't lighten colour with colour. At first I didn't like how runny, watery it was now and messy every where. But some are like that so I figured oh well. However, I was very disappointed when I blow dried my hair and it had turned all of my hair down to a plain one dimensional dark brown...I have never experienced that with Feria before especially with their red collection. So I don't know if my particular box was tampered with or a mistake in the production line. I would still recommend the brand for their browns, blacks etc. But I am greatly bummed out now that I'll have to eventually strip it all off again for a new colour.

EDIT: Sooooo when i bought this at the time it was on sale and (being my hair was super long) I got two boxes. I only ended up using the one box because the dye was so watery and easy to blend to the ends. It kept bugging me that the above ^ happened because Feria reds have always been good to me in the past. I started using harsh shampoos to strip as much as the brownish colour off as possible and then used the second box. Thinking 'oh well if it's more brown then so be it. But lets just see if it was just that one box being off' I used the second box and TA-DA! Red colour I wanted! So I am a happy camper again. Still puzzled about what happened to that first box even though it was sealed etc. I guess a mix up on the production line? Anyways. So I do in fact recommend Feria when it's the right product in the box ;)

This review is for one of the shades of red for feria hair dye. I've dyed my hair before with other products but with this one the color is perfect for like a week. Then, it fades. So when you or if you choose a hair color with this brand choose a darker shade so when it fades, its the color you want.
