Overall I found the L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo to be very good. The smell is very nice, not too strong, just enough to make it pleasant during shampooing. I only needed a small amount to get a good lather. I have very thick hair and usually need a little more shampoo to get a good lather, but this lathered well. My hair was more managable, and had a nice shine too after using this shampoo. Along with the shine, my hair seemed healthier and softer. The only negative thing I noticed was that my scalp seemed to dry out after using this shampoo the first couple of times, but did improved a bit with use. I found this shampoo to be good compared to other hydrating products I have used. I may consider buying this shampoo again if I continue to see improvement in my hair and the dry scalp issue improves. I felt that the products were a bit expensive for the amount that you receive. I would recommend this product to someone who has dry hair and wants to have a noticable improvement. It definitely makes your hair look healthier!!!

I really liked this product! I did find that because I only wash my hair about 2x a week, I had to do it twice since the formula was thin and my hair is long. The scent was banana-y and light and enjoyable. I even used it in conjunction with my regular conditioner and found that my hair augmented the conditioner.

2. Did you notice any changes to your hair? (e.g. smoothness, moisture levels, healthy appearance, etc)
After the first wash, I found that my hair was less frizzy after blow-drying and looked shinier. That lasted into the second day. I actually cut out my smoothing cream since using it.

3. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend
Yes! THough the bottle needs to be bigger or else it will become expensive.

The Loreal Professionnel Intense Repair duo is really nice. I was a little intimidated about the "intense" title, so I called Loreal's customer service to ask if it was safe for everyday use and all they said was that regular use was fine. "Regular" doesn't exactly mean daily, but I figure they would've warned me if there was any cause for concern.
So I've been using this pretty much every day for about 10 days. For hair my length (about 24"), the conditioning mask won't go too far, but I'm hoping to make it last by alternating with other products.

First Impression
The packaging is appealing, but if there is a bigger size available, I would opt for that. Both are highly fragrant, but smell really nice... a little banana-y, maybe, with a fresh perfume fragance. I can't say I've noticed this scent in my hair when it's all said and done, however.

Use
The shampoo is thin, but an average size works well. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily. The conditioner is really thick and rich - I love the texture.
One thing I don't like is that the instructions for the conditioning mask say to apply it to towel-dried hair. Wierd, I thought. I did it the first few times, but honestly, the extra time and effort it took to wrap my hair up in the middle of my shower proved to be more of a hassle than anything. Now I just squeeze as much water as I can out of my hair before I apply it and I don't notice that it works any differently.

Results
These treatments definitely pack a punch. I enjoy the set and I do think it helps to restore some moisture in my hair - which is crucial this time of year in central Alberta! My hair was softer after one use, but I didn't notice that it made my hair much smoother. The benefits seemed to plataeu after the first few uses, but I'm happy with the healthier level that my hair seems to have reached.
One undeniable benefit, in my case at least, is the crazy shine my hair has after I use these products! I really can't believe it - it catches my eye every time I pass by a mirror! Also, the shampoo label boasts "spectacular detangling", and that definitely checks out here! I was so surprised at how easily the comb ran through my hair the first time I tried these!

Thanks to ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to try L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo. It smells great, which is a MUST for me when it comes to my hair care products. My hair has been incredibly dry lately because of the weather (and being overdue for a haircut) and this product left my hair super soft and silky smooth. I noticed a difference immediately after my first use. After a week of use, my hair is so soft and feels less dry and brittle. The other bonus - my hands were extremely dry lately due to excessive washing and the shampoo made my hands feel softer and smoother too! I'm a happy camper for sure and would buy again.

First, a quick explanation of my hair type - I'm of East Indian descent and was blessed with long silky wavy/curly hair. Nevertheless, given my infatuation with straight hair, I decided to take the plunge and have my hair chemically straightened... BIG MISTAKE. This, along with ten years of straightening, have turned my once beautiful tresses into a horrifying mess of long straw-like frizzy dry hair.

I was super excited to find out that I was going to be receiving the L'oreal Intense Repair Shampoo. Having used the shampoo several times upon receipt, here is what I have found so far:

My overall experience has been quite pleasant. Although the bottle is smaller than one would hope for given the price, it is easy to handle the bottle and squeeze the desired amount. The scent reminded me of a light blend of cucumber, oats and sunscreen - although it's a pleasant and light 'summery' smell, it's not one that I am accustomed to. The consistency of the shampoo is rather thick, however, it is applied easily and you can easily spread a small amount throughout your hair. I'm more used to shampoos that build noticeable lather, something I did not find with this shampoo - perhaps this means there is less chemicals? Definitely something nice to believe!!! :) The downfall is that my hair doesn't feel as clean as with other shampoos... this might be a reality vs. perception matter given the lack of lather.

I haven't noticed a significant change in my hair in terms of moisture levels, smoothness and health - unfortunately it still looks like frizzy mess. However, I haven't used this shampoo nearly enough for it to have made a noticeable impact as of yet - I definitely am positive that there is potential! Here's the exciting bit... it seems that a few of my curls are coming back!!! I thought I had lost my curls forever given the damage I have done to my hair, but after only a few uses, it seems that there is hope!

If I had to compare this product to others that I have tried, I would rank it highly due to the fact that I've been finding hidden curls. I am hopeful that it will help with the overall moisture, smoothness and health of my hair as well... only time will tell! I do wish, however, that there was a stronger scent and greater quantity in the bottle!

The product is rather pricey, so for me to purchase it again or recommend it to a friend would require heavy justification - if my curls are restored, and if the shampoo delivers on it's claim of "Intense Repair", then I will definitely consider purchasing again. Again, I'm not even halfway through the bottle, so only time will tell! =)

The overall experience with this product is great. The bottle design is perfect, the consistency of shampoo is just right, not too thin and not too thick. The smell is also wonderful, very subtle and not too overpowering like those cheap shampoos full of chemicals. I noticed you do not need too much of shampoo to work with, just a little goes a long way. It lathers up nicely and easy to wash. My hair for sure liking this shampoo, they are more soft and smooth, more managable and more bouncy than before using this shampoo. I have medium length and medium texture hair which tends to get frizzy and dry after shampooing. And conditioning does make them smooth, but then I get oily roots. But this shampoo appears to be amazing and my hairs just loving it. Gives me a feeling of having my hair getting washed in salon.

The only thing is the price, which is quiet steep for a tiny bottle. But since it a salon brand and is exclusively available in salons, it does justify some of it. However, I would be using this only once or twice every week in between my regular shampoo so that it lasts long.

In short, I would be buying this product again and would recommend to anyone with dry, frizzy hair.

I was very happy to try out product.

After using this product the first time I figured out how my hair stylist gets my hair silky smooth every time I go to the salon - now I can get this salon look at home!

I don't dye my hair but I do blow dry it and flat iron it, and with the dryness of winter my hair doesn't like to cooperate!

I used it a couple of times without involving my regular shampoo and I did find my hair got oily slightly faster then with my regular shampoo but my hair never became frizzy nor did it give me any problems when straightening or blow drying my hair, it stayed smooth.

I decided to use my regular shampoo again to see how long the effects of this intense repair lasts. The results for me last a full week. If I use this treatment 4 times a month, my hair will stay silky smooth using my regular shampoo in between which is fantastic.

If you have dry or frizzy hair I would recommend this product.

This product is great smelling, and was easy to use. Having color treated hair, and using a flat iron too, my hair felt moisturized when shampooing. I find that this product helps with managing dryness by adding moisture and it left my hair "silky smooth".

Compared to other products, this product is thin- it doesn’t go near a far- however, it offers more results than other brands.

I would consider purchasing the products in the future.

It's a nice shampoo that lathers up quite nicely - at first I thought it smelled kind of strange; kind of like bananas and citrus, but it's definitely tolerable (and perhaps even considered yummy to some).

I have long hair that is relatively healthy, although I shower and blow dry my hair every night. I usually also do a quick run-through with a flat iron, so my hair isn't exactly sheltered from damage.

I found the shampoo moisturizing, but it was still able to clean effectively. Big plus. My hair is a bit more soft and shiny with this shampoo, compared to my usual drugstore shampoo. It's not a big enough difference for me to want to buy it in stores, but I would definitely recommend this to you ladies with dry/damaged hair!

Overall it was good experience to get to try this product for free thanks to ChickAdvisor:) The product itself is easy to use but the scent for the shampoo is not that great, it smell like a bit of chemical. The texture is okay not as runny and lather wells.

The product did not change my hair much maybe I always use a hair straightener and I have very damage hair. But I kind of moisturize my hair not as dry as before (but only slightly).
3. How do these products compare to other hydrating or reparative hair treatments you’ve tried in the past (if any)?
These products would not be as good as other treatments I have used. But would be better than the ones in the supermarket.
4. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend?
I would not purchase these products in the future because other brand I have used is better than this product.
