This was one of my favourite books as a child and still is. When I had my son this was one of the first books I added to his collection. Great story.

Robert Munsch lives in the town I work in, and I have met him a few times at work functions. I had several copies signed by him at one function and that made a special gift for some friends.

My son LOVES this story, but I have a hard time sometimes getting through it without getting a little teary eyed. Is a very cute story about a mother's special love for her son. Is for sure a classic. It was read to me when I was younger which is why I read it to my boys in hopes they will read it to their children when they are older.
