good but animal testing no thanks

great powder tbh! I would re perchance if Mac didn't test on animals. but if you don't care about that you should buy it but tbh I don't support a company testing on innocent animals

Formerly used this finishing powder exclusively. Started to affect my skin and am not sure if there may have been a change in formula. While this product still has amazing coverage and staying power, I did not like how my skin reacted to it. I find it quite drying and that it leaves my skin with mild redness on my cheeks. For those more fortunate though (and for use in a professional kit), it is easily layerable and looks fantastic on camera. Super easy to find the perfect shade for your client.

pros:

1. blends perfectly on my skin.
2. has a wide range of color selection.
3. doesn't look cakey or powdery even on touch-ups.
4. evens out my skin.
5. doesn't break me out

cons:
1. somewhat pricey
2. last approx 6 hrs on my t-zone then it oils up and rubs off.

I really like this product especially in the summer time or times when I don't want to wear a heavy foundation. The MAC studio fix powder plus foundation really gives me almost full coverage for my mild rosacea and I feel confident when wearing it!

I have been using M.A.C studio fix during 15 years and loves the coverage and the container.
Since I am over 40 now, my skins is dying for hydration and I find that the studio fix just does not work for me anymore, I need to use a liquid foundation or BB cream.
I would say it is great for those who have normal to oily skin and needs lots coverage.

Color selection is great.

This foundation is works well on my skin however I often find I need to reapply it at least one more time throughout the day as it doesn't help my oily skin much. The pigments create an amazing shade which blends well into my skin and creates a smooth finish.

I love this product and have been using it for years. I use a brush for a medium coverage and the sponge applicator for full coverage. It is easy to work with.

One of my favorite setting powders. Doesn't add a lot of coverage but gives a flawless finish to any make up look. Leaves skin matte and makes foundation last longer. Definitely a must have in my make up bag.

Great coverage, great colour selection. It really is a great foundation, blends well and stays on all day. I have been using this for over five years, it's part of my cosmetics must haves. The price is on par, but the quality bodes more expensive.

This product is iconic! It has to be in ever single make up artists pro kit. I use this on all my clients. It's sets really well and does not dry up on clients face. I adore that it comes in a variety of different shades so your bound to find a shade that suits your unique undertone. The formula is a bit creamy/powder and applies nicely,There is no scent to this product which is a bonus!!! I find it long lasting , at lest 6 - 7 hours.
