Great for Painting

I received these to test as part of a Mastercraft campaign and they really tested my creative abilities. I am not a painter so I chose to heat press vinyl on the canvas to make a sign and it worked wonderfully. The space is large and bright. The frame makes for a built in hanger so it was ready to display immediately. The HTV adhered nicely and the texture allowed for a grippy surface. I would purchase as a gift for the creative people in my life. The 5 pack makes it easy for group projects like paint night or gift giving for a group.

Art night

My girls and I were lucky enough to be chosen to try the Mastercraft Crafting Canvas for Oil and Acrylic Paint for free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. It was a good addition to our paint night.

The canvases are lightweight but still feel sturdy and the material had a decent thickness to it . We usually buy ours from the dollar store, so this was definitely a step up.

The paint went on smoothly, though we did need a second coat to fill in the small indents, which is pretty normal. We tested both acrylic paints and oil paints, they both applied nicely. I also tested some texture art using putty, and it adhered to the canvas really well.

Overall, we were very happy with these canvases and would definitely use them again!
