This was sent to me though the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club along with the dream velvet foundation. I have tried this with the foundation that it came with and it delivered great coverage once I got the hang of it. If you wet it, you can achieve a nice light coverage with it. I enjoyed using this and will purchase again. Thanks ChickAdvisor and Maybe lying!

The sponge worked great but with the small handle on it i found it a bit awkward. I think i would rather the brush have been a bit larger and the stick not attached to it at all.

I usually use the beauty blender for my foundations and I was excited that chick advisor gave me an opportunity to review the maybelline blender as I have something to compare the beauty blender with. The initial reaction was that the maybelline dream blender was too small to handle and the foundation was not applying on the face properly. The foundation kept rolling off my face without it blending it into the skin and I felt I was using a lot of product on my face rather than the small pea size I usually use. I wouldn't really recommend the product to anyone due to the above reasons and I will not repurchase.

I was excited about using the blender but didn't like it. I preferred my beauty blender or fingers instead. Even using it wet I still didn't like the way my foundation was applied.

I received this blender for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It's very soft and use with ease as instructed.It really blends my Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation into my skin and delivers even foundation coverage. I found that it's also good to be used under eyes area with its tip for a perfect finish.

This brush doesn't work very well....

I tried....wet, dry...maybe my face is too flat? I'm not sure. Sorry with not flat surfaces....and only 1 tip, the only part I could actually put on makeup properly was around my nose area? :-P

Sorry ...I think I'll stick with the cheap sponges that have more flat surface area.

It's cute though. I'm glad I got to try it for free with Chickadvisor's product review club. Btw...the Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation was fantastic!

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I thought that it helped spread the foundation on my face fairly nice but it was awkward to use. I felt like it just spread the foundation around, rather than helping work the foundation into the skin to prevent the caked on make up look. I would not reach for this tool again.

So I finally got this bad boy in the mail! The brush is pretty good quality. The only thing I would say about it, is that I wish the brush was bigger! It's difficult working with suck a little sponge with a little handle lol.

I had the opportunity to try the Maybelline New York Dream Blender. I am a sponge person so I really liked it! It's a little stiffer than I would of liked but find the more I break it in and use it and also if you use it damp it really works well for that. I like the tip of the sponge it's great to get into all the spots around your eyes and nose that you can sometimes miss.

I found that this blender was easy to hold and use. I ended up putting some water on the sponge like the box directed if you wanted less coverage. I mainly did this because the foundation was too dark for my skin but I also wanted to see if it changed the way it spread the foundation on my face. The water just seemed to sit on top of the sponge and not soak in, the sponge seems more dense than any other blenders I have used. It took a while to actually blend it into my face but in the end it worked as well as my other blenders, just took more time. I probably won't be purchasing this in the future and wouldn't recommend this one to others.
