I was given a sample to try of the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation and Maybelline New York Dream Blender. I love the dream blender with the dream velvet together. I like the dream blender much better than my usual make up sponges because of the handle. It helps control the application and ot helped me get a nice blended coverage. I also like the shape of the dream blender sponge because it helped get an even coverage around the eyes. I even used it one day with another foundation and liked it. As per the instructions, I tried the light coverage option by wetting and using it dry for regular coverage. I liked the options that did work as advertised. This has definitely become a regular make up tool that I will keep using in the future and buy again! I would definitely be recommending to friends and family.
Go out and try it, you won't regret it!

Great blend for the price. Make up is light and airy doesn't feel heavy at all. Definitely would buy again and I think it's a very good product. Glad I tried it.

I am so confused as to how this is helpful... I get for the contouring where the makeup artists put on a TON of different shades and tones like a mask and blend it in, but for normal foundation use, it just absorbs into the sponge and seems to push it into my skin more than I'd like.

Definitely won't be using this except for maybe at Halloween lol

I personally wasn't a fan of the maybelline New York dream blender. I found it wasn't the best shape for the whole face. It worked great near the nose and under the eyes but overall I found it didn't apply on as nicely. I prefer my standard blender I use vs this one. I would use this, like I said, just for the areas with creases because it does get into the area a lot closer then a normal blender. I don't think it's worth the cost though if I use it just for that. It was very smooth when applying and the wand is a perfect sis, just not for me.

I received the maybelline new york dream blender free to try as part of being a chick advisor review club member. I really liked this blender, it was able to blend all my foundations and blushes/ powders, leaving no greasy residue beind, as my fingers normally would. I will def be buying this in the future.

This dream blender is both peculiar and wondrous - it has changed my views on makeup application. Never having been satisfied with makeup sponges previously, I have been applying foundation using my fingers for the past few years. Enter Maybelline's New York Dream Blender: the game-changer. I diligently followed the application instructions on the package and was astounded by the results: my skin actually looked airbrushed! I applied the same foundation using my fingers and the results were noticeably different - when using my fingers, it was not as smooth. The dream blender seamlessly covers up all uneven areas and feels really soft against my skin as well.
My only concern is that it seems to require a bit more foundation, but the results make it worthwhile.

Normally I use sponges that I buy in the dollar store to apply foundation. This was my first time to try out a fancy blender and it was interesting to try it. Since I am so used to apply using a sponge this was quite a change but in a good way. I like it and it is just a matter of time to get used to. At least with the blender I don't get fingers dirty which sometimes happens with the sponge. It was nice to use it around the eyes.
Price wise I think this a pricey product but since it does the job maybe it justifies being that pricey.

I received this product free to test from ChickAdvisor. This blending brush definitely was not for me I prefer my flat round applicator. Maybe for others that are more into makeup it would be good for them but I had a hard time trying to use it. It is a great little product just wasn't for me. I would still recommend it to others.
