I had been convinced of 2 things: 1) that powder foundation was better than liquid, and 2) that I would never buy foundation from the supermarket. Once I tried this though, I completely changed my mind! 5 things that I really like about this:

1. Didn't feel oily or heavy at all. Wore it out for an afternoon in the sun and didn't "melt" on me. I applied the foundation with my fingertips and didn't have any powder to wear over it.
2. Colour matched perfectly (but could also be because it's very sheer). Found that it evened out my skin tone pretty well.
3. Looks very natural, not cakey at all
4. Upon close inspection, it does have the effect of "minimizing" pores. It claims to give you that "airbrushed" look and it's right!
5. Pump worked well, doesn't squirt out too much product as some pumps do sometimes

I'm just really surprised at how well this product works, given that it's more affordable than what I had been originally using! I don't know how this compares with other supermarket/drugstore brands (like CG), but I would definitely consider switching over to this foundation and save myself some cash!

Just a note about my skin type: normal, don't have sensitive skin, a bit of rosacea under the nose area, but otherwise no other skin flaws. Overall, this product worked well for my skin type!

this foundation is amazing. its not too heavy and it covers well. it even hides all the bumps on your face that's caused by acne. really nice finish.

i was very excited to get picked to try out maybellines new dream liquid mousse, there are alot of foubdations out there that promise to do alot of things but fall short of doing them, i`m usually very warry of trying foundations due to the fact that i have very sensitive skin as well as very fair skin that a foundation can come across as looking like a fake tan lol but i was pleasantly surprised with mabellines new line of foundation so here it goes :)

1. How it made my complexion look.. i was very pleased with the results as stated above some foundations can come across as making you look like you have a fake tan, not with maybelline, i actually got complimented on my face the first time wearing it and going out, i was pleased to see that even though it gave me a little more color it was the right color and it matched the rest of my skin tone.

2. How it affected the appearance of my pores... it actually did make them appear smaller and it also evened up my skin tone which is a plus, it cant completely diminish your pores but it does a great job at making appear smaller than they are.

3. How did i find the application? ... it was very easy, a little goes a long way whether you use your finger tip or a sponge what i really liked was it wasnt greasy and it dried almost as soon as you applied it.

4. How my skin felt with it on.... i was very light which is the best way to feel (nothing) when wearing a foundation it should feel natural and like you have nothing on your skin, i was also very pleased with how long the foundation lasted, from morning `til night untill i washed it off even in the extreme heat of the sun,
and being very active outdoors. there was no change in my skin, i would reccomend this to anyone even if you have fair sensitive skin :)

I have been using mineral powder exclusively for the past 4 months intead of a liquid foundation and wondered what it would be like to go back to a liquid.
I was pleasantly surprised! This foundation is incredibly light when it goes on and easy to blend in. During the day, it did not cake or run, and I forgot I was wearing it. I really like this product and will look for it on the shelves when I run out of this one. Compared to the mineral powder, I find that this gave me a smoother look and covered some of my 'less than perfect' skin!
I highly recommend the Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse to women who are looking for a light feeling foundation that gives some great coverage.

I was sent this product as part of the product review, and the timing was perfect! I had a wedding to go to, so it was the perfet opportunity to try it out, as i was in the bridal party!

1. This made my skin look so clear adn flawless.

2. My pores were minimized, and in most cases could not been seen.

3. Application was extremely easy, and totally goof proof!

4. I felt as though my skin was able to breathe, not heaviy like with other foundations. This lasted me all day, and it was still on perfectly, when i washed it off 10 hours later!

Additional considerations

This covered up all my blemishes and inperfections, such a fantastic product! i am hooked as are m friends!

I received this as part of the product review club, and I am a make-up junkie and am always up to try another foundation. I have been using a powder for a while now because I had a few bad liquid foundations. The week I received this I had a lot of stress with school and work, I started to have a lot of stress pimples and the powder was not cutting it, this completely smoothed out my skin. The coverage is very smooth and it gives good coverage even on red, inflamed skin. I can see a definite improvement in the look of my pores, they were not completely covered up, but it was better than other liquid foundations I have used. I used a make-up sponge and it was easy to apply and it was blended quite easily. It did not feel as heavy as some other foundations I have used, and if you set it with a powder it doesn't rub off. I did have trouble with under eye coverage, as it seemed to dry out and sink into the creases under my eyes as the day went on. Overall I really like it, and I prefer it to the dream mousse that was released last year.

Thanks for allowing me to review this product!! I think I found my new favorite foundation!! Very easy to apply, and it has a barely there feeling. The last foundation I was using always felt heavy and was hard to blend. This product makes your skin feel wonderfully soft and doesn't cause me to break out!! It doesn't flake either!!! The only problem I have is the shade is a little dark, but I have very fair skin, so it's very hard to find a shade that's perfect. Besides that, it's a great product and I would most certainly but it and recommend it to anybody! The price is also great, which is an added bonus

1. Loved the product. Tried it out first thing this morning when I opened up my package. Thank you ChickAdvisor.
2. Application with a makeup sponge is really easy to do. Took a bit more time then a pressed powder foundation to apply. Used coverup around my eyes and the foundation only covered around 75% of red spots.
3. I got Light #4 which is slightly darker than my natural shade but I'm fake and baking at this time. The colour is great and sets nicely with a finishing powder (I use MAC Studio Fix). I also use a bronzing powder and the whole she-bang really impressed me this morning. Don't know about the airbrush claim to fame but definitely a smoother finish for me.
4. I usually have the oily problem by the afternoon. But the pic I'm posting is care of my bbm around 4pm and I don't have an oily forehead!

I have to admit that at first I was a bit skeptical as to how well this product would measure up to more expensive brands, as I have had my fair share of negative run ins with drugstore brand foundations. I am very happy to say I was wrong.

I got the light (#3) which turned out to be a shade darker than I needed, but the product blends so well and has a really natural finish that it looked okay once applied. It makes my skin look pretty much flawless, and I like that it has a medium cover that covers imperfections but doesn't obliterate my freckles.

I usually use a pore minimizing primer under my foundation, but for my trial run with this, I skipped it. I have found that a lot of makeup makes my pores look bigger, but this foundation didn't. In fact I think they look a bit smaller!

I always feel makeup on my skin, and am always aware that I have "something on" but I find that with this that feeling is gone. As corny as it sounds I really do forget that I am wearing it, until I pass by a mirror and see how great my skin looks that is.

The only thing I would change is the applicator, while I do like the pump, not enough comes out at a time. Also, this foundation (as with most liquids) does need a translucent powder to set it and keep away the oiliness throughout the day.

I will be buying this in the future!

I do not normally use cover-up or foundation of any kind since I tend to have sensitive skin, but this product was amazing. It went on remarkably smooth, and although I did not get the right shade (chose one about a shade too dark) it still blended in and even gave my complexion a glow. I would recommend this for those who have normal skin since it does get a bit shiny after a few hours.
