For my skin type, this particular foundation was a flop for me. I did not like the consistency and it broke apart on my face after a short period of time. I am combination skin. Mostly broke up on my t-zone where I am oily.

This foundation is way too thick for my liking. It made my skin greasy and it just felt gross all day. I also spent the extra money on the "sponge" if you wanna call it that. Felt like i was punching my face repeatedly ! The sponge was so hard and uncomfortable, and it really didn't help to blend the product in at all. Just all around awful !

i tried a bunch of the products based off the fact they were mentioned in the reviewers choice awards this year, i like the idea of a bit of a more matte finish, but it felt heavier on my skin and i woke up with pimples even after giving my face a good clean

I have really oily skin so anything that's marketed as a matte foundation (especially at the drugstore) I have my hands on asap. This foundation looked HORRIBLE, it didn't blend, it was streaky, oily and super cakey. It felt like I was wearing a mask of makeup that would basically wear off immediately. They also need to have a wider range of shades in this line, the darkest colour is very very orange and the lightest isn't even close to being light enough for my skin tone (think MAC NW20). Honestly, dave your money and purchace the infallible pro-matte by loreal instead.

Honestly it's horrible! It doesn't blend at all and looks all blotchy. It also seemed to bring out my acne instead of cover it! I'm just happy I tried it in a day I wasn't going out. I am however happy that I got to test this product for free!

It didn't really blend well for me, even using the blender. I've been searching for foundation that works well with my skin type. The quality is great though, I can see it working well on others.

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The price was quite expensive to me but I'm glad I was able to try it before making the purchase. It was smooth and soft, which made it comfortable to wear. The blendable brush helped apply it on my face and not make me look as cakey as normal foundations. I recommend you need the brush for sure when applying this type as without it,it may not look as good. I like the product but may not try it again, perhaps a different type.

I received this item to sample through Chick Advisor. The sponge was very bulky and harsh - unless it was a bit damp, it would basically soak all of the foundation into the sponge! It had very light coverage with the sponge and was very uneven. The finish was powdery more than velvety - it dried fast which didn't allow much time for blending. I would not repurchase.

First off I will say that the color match of this was spot on great match. Now the feeling of this when I put it on my face was different, it started off as a whipped mousse like texture then when to a patchy cream or gel feeling. I did not like how this looked on my face but I applied it to see how it would cover up my spots and it did OK. As I applied more or even tried to even out the finish it literally rolled off my face or moved around uncovering my skin below. I was really disappointed at the finish of this and how it worked with my skin. I would not repurchase or recommend based of this I find Maybelline makes other wonderful products but this one for me was not one of them, the formula needs some work,

My experience with this product was sub-par. There wasn't much of a matte finish, my skin was very very dry after using it so the lasting hydration didn't work. I will not be purchasing this foundation in the future. But, I would recommend it to a friend because everyone's skin is different.
