Thanks ChickAdvisor and Maybelline for offering this mascara to the Product Review Club! I've been using it for a little over a week now, and I'm completely hooked. I have to say this product isn't something I would have purchased on my own- when I heard the name "The Falsies" I pictured a tacky, goo-ey mess. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try this because I couldn't have been more wrong.
It creates very black, lengthened, and defined lashes. The curved brush makes it easy to apply. This is now my staple mascara for going out. I think it actually creates tooo much eyelash for wearing to work (if that's possible!). I've recommended this to a friend who usually goes for more high end mascaras- she's already bought her own "The Falsies" mascara in the brown-black and loves it. Oh, and my favorite part- no black under my eyes at the end of the night! It has great staying power, but easily removes with my nivea eye makeup remover wipes.

First of all thanks to Chick Advisor and Maybelline for the Product Review Club! I was happy to be chosen because this mascara looked cool, and the packaging when it came in the mail was cute.

WHAT I LOVE:
-The colour (Very Black) is exactly that :)
-The brush and it's shape are amazing. You get good lift and it goes on without clumping, plus it's way easier to get the lashes in each corner.
-Great length, this mascara reaches the very tips of my lashes.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER:
I don't wear false lashes but I know what they look like, and this just isn't the same. For me, this mascara does everything it should EXCEPT give my lashes volume and thickness. It seems to separate the lashes too well, and almost make them look thinner. Everything else about it is great, but if you are looking for false lashes then that is probably what you should buy. This is a good product nonetheless!

It's cool how they also sent coupons for 'friends and family' with the mascara - I gave a few to my mum but will probably keep the rest for myself!

I loooovee this mascara. It is amazing. No clumps, no flakes. It makes your lashes very bold and black, and they do even look false! I would recommend this mascara to all my friends. It's quality is amazing, and it is effective to make lashes stand out. I find it also doesn't smudge all over the eyelids. When it comes to mascara, this is a definite fave.!!!

I really liked the drama this mascara created with my lashes that are somewhat otherwise sparse. Maybelline New York The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara made my lashes fuller and lengthened them as well. I don't think they had the full impact of false lashes but it is the closest thing to false lashes I have had without actually using false lashes. I would definitely buy this product again.

I was very lucky to have been chosen to try out this product as part of the Product Review Club. I am confessing in being a huge mascara junkie - I have about 5 different brands in my makeup kit. I really liked the spoon-shaped brush as it really made the application to my eyelash very smooth, easy and helped to separate each of the lashes. While the mascara was not fully able to achieve the look of wearing false eyelashes it did lengthen and define each of my lashes and made them look somewhat fuller - perhaps thanks to the keratin fibre formula. The consistency of the mascara was neither too thick nor too watery - had the perfect mix. The one watchout with this product is that you can not wait to let your lashes dry to apply additional coats, as the mascara tends to leave clumps - but by applying multiple coats without letting the first coat dry, you won't see any clumping. The other great thing is that you can easily remove the mascara off your eyelashes - you don't need any makeup remover. Overall, I rate this mascara as being pretty good and would recommend to friends.

I was selected to try The falsies Volum Express by Maybelline New York and I absolutely love this product. it goes on very easily with no clumps. I find many mascaras are very gloppy and their wands need to have some of the mascara wiped off before using, usually in the first week when the product is new and full. I did not have this problem with the Falsies at all.

It made my lashes look fuller and longer, not in a "obviously wearing a thick layer of mascara" kind of way, more like a higher end brand of mascara. It's not sticky and it doesn't make my eyelashes stick together which is nice. However, I wouldn't necessarily wear this if you need a mascara that's going to last a really long time ( like if you wear it to work, and then go out afterwards). It does smudge a bit if it's been worn for quite awhile. it's perfect for special occasions because it gives you gorgeous lashes. Two thumbs up!

As a makeup artist I am constantly trying out the latest mascaras in hopes to find one that beats out all the rest...I think this Masacara is at the top of my list!!!

The brush is amazing and helps to separate each lash and build the volume and length of each individual lash. The texture isn't too liquidy or too thick. There was absolutely no clumping at all and my lashes did not feel dry and flaky even after the mascara dried. I use many coats but for a more natuarl finish one coat of this stuff does the trick!

I would definitely suggest this mascara to all of my clients and will be handing out the 15% off coupons that came in the package to all of my friends!!!

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to product test this item (thank you, Chick Advisor!!) and it came in a beautiful purple bubble pack (not important I know, but a very nice touch!!) The packaging is quite eye-catching and dramatic. Now for the product: it is very easy to apply, and I found it to be a very good product. As it states on the packaging, do NOT let it dry between applications or else you'll get clumping. It did add volume to my lashes, and definitely lengthened them (I wear glasses during the day, and now my lashes are hitting my lenses!!) but I would NOT say that it's the same as false eye lashes; no way. In comparison to my usual 'Volum Express' mascara, I would say that the new 'The Falsies' is a little bit better. I would definitely recommend this item, but not if you expect it to be as effective as false eye lashes. The price is reasonable and the quality is very good. The effectiveness is 4 out of 5.

I really like this mascara because it very dark, gets great volume and best of all does not flake at all! I've tried many mascara's even the brand name ones... and most of them flake. This one however does not. Its quick to wash off, but can last you the whole day!...... It's not the exact same affect as wearing false lashes (but my problem may be that I don't know how to apply it for it to get that affect), none the less i still do love it, and I will continue to use it everyday..
