This foundation is the best long-wearing foundation I've ever used. I much prefer this over my Revlon Colorstay. The packaging is sturdy -- your typical glass bottle (no pump). The product itself is rather thick but still liquidy. It's fully coverage but breathable and not heavy. My favorite way to apply this is with a Beauty Blender -- you can easily sheer it out or build it up. The formula doesn't transfer and is truly long-wearing. It's perfect for long days at school or work as well as for parties or nights out. Definitely up there on my list of favorite foundations, period. Totally recommend it!

I LOVE this makeup. It is medium coverage which is great for concealing blemishes, under eye bags and dark spots. I have pretty oily skin and i find that this makeup creates a nice matte-like finish on my skin. It does not clog my pores and provides enough coverage; it is long lasting and the price is very reasonable too! I definitely recommend this product!

This foundation really does stay on your face very well. Usally i have issues with foundation rubbing off on clothes or comming off if my face is oily. This stuff stays on and you dont have to use alot to get great results. It covers pores and imperfections very well. It always hides acne well too

I really like the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour foundation. It is a drugstore brand, so often times, we may think the coverage or quality lacks, but this has really impressed me. It is very pigmented so it does deliver great coverage and I've also doubled it as a concealer! It covers redness, spots, acne scarring, you name it! It also goes on very smoothly without streaking or becoming cakey. My face looks flawless when I use this! I found the best way to apply it is by patting it gently with a damp sponge or stippling and buffing it in with a duo-fibre brush.

Another way I've used this foundation is as a tinted moisturizer. I mix it with my daily face moisturizer and use the tiniest amount of product to even out my skin tone. This foundation is probably best for normal to dry skin. I wouldn't see it working too well for oily skin since it is a very creamy product. It is oil-free, so it won't clog pores and it does come in a variety of shades. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump. I pour out way too much product this way.

In terms of staying power, this does last me the entire work day and I rarely need to touch up. I don't think this would ever last 24 hours (and I don't see why anyone would want to have makeup on for that long), but it does live up to it's long lasting promise. I've worn it in hot temperatures and it does not budge.

Since this foundation is very pigmented, I would make sure to wipe your face with either a makeup wipe or baby wipe prior to washing to make sure most of it has come off.

I would consider repurchasing this foundation in the future!

I find this foundation smells MUCH better than Revlon's Colorstay (which smells vaguely of paint).

It's got good coverage for my sensitive, sometime dry, sometime oily skin. I am prone to breakouts and I have a lot of redness that I need to cover. This does a great job at that. I still always use a base of green concealer to reduce the redness, but I've tried this on it's own and it works really well. I've used whipped foundations that go on heavy only and I like this one because it's still good coverage in one layer, but the more you layer it, the better it gets... and it never looks too heavy.

They also have a good range of colors. I am extremely pale and it's hard to find a foundation that doesn't make my skin look orange. I have cool undertones, and the color I have (Porcelain Ivory) is slightly pink which is good for me.

As for the 24 hour promise... I don't think it's true. It does last a long time but definitely not 24 hours. It does last better through sweat than other foundations I've tried but it's not "transfer free" which is what Maybelline claims. But when I set it with a pressed powder, it does last quite a long time.

There's only one complaint I have about this stuff... and that's how it's packaged. It's a glass container that has a small opening so I have to use my concealer brush to get it out and I use my larger foundation brush to spread it. But it's a small compromise.

I do recommend using a foundation brush for this though, I found it works better than my fingers. Sponges would be good too.

Overall, this is what I think:

    Pros:
    - nice consistency/smell - good coverage with the ability to add layers without being cakey
    - good color range for all skin colors - covers redness without making my skin break out (oil free)

    Cons:
    - dispenser is a glass container without pump
    - doesn't live up to 24 hour claim... although I don't think ANY foundation does.

I used the previous Maybelline Superstay Silky 16 hr foundation for years- probably close to all throughout high school. After it was discontinued I tried so many foundations and none of them suited my skin! I ended up wearing mineral foundation most of the time, or no foundation at all because everything I tried just broke me out or looked streaky/ didn't match my pale skin. Finally about a month ago I gave in and bought the new Maybelline Super Stay Makeup 24 hr.. and I wish I bought it sooner!
I can't say if it is really 24 hr.. although I've worn it from 8 am to 2 am and it still looked good so thats pretty close! It is definately super stay though. I've worn it walking to class in the craziest weather- rain, snow, intense humidity. Where I bought it, sand beige was the lightest color (although there is one lighter shade available elsewhere).. and I am very pale, but it couldn't match my skin color better. Also.. as far as I know there are no medicinal ingredients, but when I bought this I was having a breakout.. and within 3 days there were no signs of the breakout at all, and I haven't had a blemish since. I love this stuff!
The only downside is the packaging.. I don't like not having a pump. I hate sticking my fingers into the product, and my foundation brush is too big to fit in. I end up just using a q-tip, then dab it on my skin and brush it out..which works, but a pump would be more convienent.
