Lovely product that I would use again

I was given the opportunity to try this product for free from Chick Advisor. This prep cleanser had a nice fragrance, with small gentle exfoliating beads. Love the feel and scent!

This is wonderful, I've been using morning and night. Love the scent, it fresh and light. Feels good on the skin. My skin feels refreshed and smooth. Still have wrinkles lol, but some softening of them. I dont feel significant results will be achieved overnight. But with continued use, I believe I will see improvement. Did see significant results in texture and more evenness of skin. Softer and less blotchy skin now.

It works

I have to admit I am one of those lazy people that only occasionally uses a cleanser on my face. I usually just wash it with water and a makeup removing wash cloth. That was before trying Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair prep cleanser. This cleanser has gentle exfoliation, that leaves my skin feeling renewed and refreshed. It actually looks brighter, and feels healthier. I love that this product comes in a generous size - 141g, and the pump is an added convenience.Neutrogena for the win!

Good product

It is a good cleanser. It cleanse my skin without over drying it. It left my face soft. However, I didn't notice any difference in my skin texture after 1 week of use.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser

I received NEUTROGENA® RAPID WRINKLE REPAIR® Prep Cleanser free through ChickAdvisor #gotitfree with the promise to give it my honest unbiased review.

I am in my late 50's I find myself in search of products that could help with the growing number fine lines and wrinkles that I have. When I was chosen to be one of the testers for this product, I was happy to try it. The Cleanser was easy to use being in a pump bottle and it felt like a gentle on my face. I used it twice a day morning and night and my face felt soft after and I had no reactions to using it. I would recommend this product to my friends and family and will definitely buy it again.

Just... Okay

This prep cleanser worked okay. I noticed after using that my skin wasn't as clean as when I use my normal cleanser. I used a makeup pad to apply toner, and took off the extra makeup and dirt that was left on my skin. The microbeads helped gently exfoliate my skin, and didn't irritate it like some exfoliators do. The scent is nice, not too strong. The cleanser did leave my skin feeling soft. I'm not entirely sure I'd purchase this again though.

As a 44-year-old woman who's very familiar with skincare & cosmetic products, as well as having worked for two medical spas over 20 years, I have been fortunate to try many cleansers circa 2000–2016, particularly—prestige, cosmeceutical, and medical grade. Likewise, I have tried more than a few drugstore brands over the years (including Neutrogena®).

The purpose of a cleanser is to lift, suspend, and remove makeup, dirt, grime, and oil. I try to spend as little as possible on products which I will wash down the drain, knowing that my 13-year-old Clarisonic MD (given to me by original Clarisonic, before L'Oréal's buy-out) will effectively remove all of the above, as well as gently exfoliate my skin—even if used with a mild Castille soap (i.e. Dr. Bronner's). I try to not over-exfoliate my skin, as doing so compromises my skin's moisture barrier and leads to dehydration. IF I'm inclined to wear a face full of makeup (which I haven't been over the past couple of years), I double-cleanse with an oil or micellar water (usually Garnier), followed by the Clarisonic, using a Castille-based soap.

PERSONALLY, as a mid-40s woman with combination skin prone to dehydration, I'm not likely to purchase Neutrogena® Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser, because my skin is already prepped, exfoliated, and I don't like washing money down the drain. What I've been using for years: works, and I'll stick to my personal routine!

Despite removing dead, keratinized cells from my skin (2x day), I didn't feel it was necessary to cleanse morning & evening—just evening. Over-cleansing and exfoliating = dehydration and crêpiness. HOWEVER, I did appreciate the product's effectiveness when applied to my nose, deep cleaning my pores (which can appear as blackheads). I didn't like the texture of my skin after cleansing; I felt a bit of film/residue left behind.

The cleanser doesn't lather, and I question what Neutrogena® is using (in lieu of plastic) as the physical exfoliant (paired with the glycolic base).

This isn't a "yay" or "nay" from me—just a "meh!". I will add: a 36-year-old friend (who's not into skincare nor has a routine) tried a bit of the cleanser and noticed much more smoothness and suppleness. She hasn't used exfoliant before, and therefore, noticed the smoothing effect that the glycolic acid & grains had on her (surface) dryness. SHE loved the cleanser! Therefore, though it's not a product for me personally, I think it would be effective for others seeking an effective, affordable exfoliant.

A must have

This facial cleanser is great! It has a light and fresh scent and cleans without drying it out. After using it my skin feels soft and tight.
I love the light exfoliating effect that the microbeads provide. And even better, they do not contain any plastic.
I highly recommend this product.

Good cleanser

This cleanser did not make my skin feel tight and dry like so many cleansers make my face feel.

It removed all of my stubborn eye makeup which is no easy task.
