Soothing

I found this Wrinkle Repair cleanser to be just ok. I wish it had more scrubbing action to it. It did make my face feel soft afterwards but I could get the same affect from using my everyday moisturizer. I didn't really feel that my face felt exfoliated enough from this type of cleanser.

Believe it or not

Le produit nettoie très bien la peau. Je la sentais bien fraiche et propre. Je n'ai utilisé qu'une petite quantité au cas au ma peau aurait une réaction. La texture est bonne et c'est facile à utiliser. Par contre, je n'ai pas vu de différence dans ma peau. Peut-être qu'une utilisation à plus long terme ferait une différence.

I understand this cleanser is to prep the skin in order to boost the effectiveness of the oils or moisturizers used afterwards.

While my skin texture is definitely more smooth and I feel that it isn’t as dull looking, I have dryness and peeling from the retinol.

Still on the fence with this and feel that the prep cleanser is a little more harsh than I’d prefer.

Loving this product so far

I did not have much time to use this product once I received it to see a difference in my skin. Been using this product for about 1 week now, Smells good and my face feels clean after each use. I've been using this product before bedtime and my face feels relax after each use. No feeling of tightness or dryness on the skin which is extremely important to me. No skin irritation. I would want continue using this product to see if I will notice a difference. I would recommend this to my friends and family. #NEUTROGENA. #gotitfree. #chickAdvisor

A pretty good cleanser to wash away dirt and makeup

I used this cleanser twice a day for a few weeks.
I liked the scent and feel of it .My face felt clean and moisturized.
Unfortunately didn't notice any wrinkle improvement.

Good product - but not great.

I was very happy to get the opportunity to try this product for free! Neutrogena products have played a part in my daily beauty routine in some form or another. The Anti wrinkle prep cleanser works well and my face was left feeling soft and smooth; however I didn’t like the consistency of the cleanser (very watery) or the way it felt on my face (slimy). The pump Dispenser is a pro; having to squeeze or scoop out your facial creams/cleansers isn’t exactly ideal. Don’t pump more than one time per wash; as it spreads very easy. Ok product

Just... Okay

This prep cleanser worked okay. I noticed after using that my skin wasn't as clean as when I use my normal cleanser. I used a makeup pad to apply toner, and took off the extra makeup and dirt that was left on my skin. The microbeads helped gently exfoliate my skin, and didn't irritate it like some exfoliators do. The scent is nice, not too strong. The cleanser did leave my skin feeling soft. I'm not entirely sure I'd purchase this again though.

As a 44-year-old woman who's very familiar with skincare & cosmetic products, as well as having worked for two medical spas over 20 years, I have been fortunate to try many cleansers circa 2000–2016, particularly—prestige, cosmeceutical, and medical grade. Likewise, I have tried more than a few drugstore brands over the years (including Neutrogena®).

The purpose of a cleanser is to lift, suspend, and remove makeup, dirt, grime, and oil. I try to spend as little as possible on products which I will wash down the drain, knowing that my 13-year-old Clarisonic MD (given to me by original Clarisonic, before L'Oréal's buy-out) will effectively remove all of the above, as well as gently exfoliate my skin—even if used with a mild Castille soap (i.e. Dr. Bronner's). I try to not over-exfoliate my skin, as doing so compromises my skin's moisture barrier and leads to dehydration. IF I'm inclined to wear a face full of makeup (which I haven't been over the past couple of years), I double-cleanse with an oil or micellar water (usually Garnier), followed by the Clarisonic, using a Castille-based soap.

PERSONALLY, as a mid-40s woman with combination skin prone to dehydration, I'm not likely to purchase Neutrogena® Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser, because my skin is already prepped, exfoliated, and I don't like washing money down the drain. What I've been using for years: works, and I'll stick to my personal routine!

Despite removing dead, keratinized cells from my skin (2x day), I didn't feel it was necessary to cleanse morning & evening—just evening. Over-cleansing and exfoliating = dehydration and crêpiness. HOWEVER, I did appreciate the product's effectiveness when applied to my nose, deep cleaning my pores (which can appear as blackheads). I didn't like the texture of my skin after cleansing; I felt a bit of film/residue left behind.

The cleanser doesn't lather, and I question what Neutrogena® is using (in lieu of plastic) as the physical exfoliant (paired with the glycolic base).

This isn't a "yay" or "nay" from me—just a "meh!". I will add: a 36-year-old friend (who's not into skincare nor has a routine) tried a bit of the cleanser and noticed much more smoothness and suppleness. She hasn't used exfoliant before, and therefore, noticed the smoothing effect that the glycolic acid & grains had on her (surface) dryness. SHE loved the cleanser! Therefore, though it's not a product for me personally, I think it would be effective for others seeking an effective, affordable exfoliant.

J'étais vraiment contente de faire partie de ce banc d'essai avec ce nouveau nettoyant de Neutrogena.

Il nettoie en profondeur le visage et il sent bon. Il n'est pas trop parfumé, ce qui est idéal pour moi. De plus, déjà juste après l'avoir utilisé, on sent notre peau qui est hydratée par celui-ci. On doit l'utiliser avant d'appliquer l'huile Correctrice de rides express pour une utilisation efficace et optimale.
En général, je l'aime bien.

I do enjoy this cleanser

I do like this cleanser because it removes all my daily make up and brightens up my skin. I didn’t see any improvement except my skin felt clean which I’m happy about. #gotitfree
