Overall, I surprisingly enjoyed this product. Here is a summary of the major Pros and Cons:

    Pros:
    1) My face remained matte all day with no sign of an oily T-Zone whether with a high end foundation or a drug store version.
    2) It absorbed into the skin quickly which allowed for quick application of makeup afterwards
    3) I only had the chance to use to the product for 3 days as it arrived late but I have no signs of any break-outs as of yet.

    Cons:
    1) The perfume smell is quite strong at first and very artificial. Gave me a small headache at times as the sent sticks around for a while.
    2) My foundation didn't last all day like it would with my usual primer. By 4pm the redness in my skin would start to show as if the foundation just disappeared off my face ( I tried both high end and drug store products),
    3) The moisture aspect of the cream isn't strong enough for winter months (my dry cheeks felt tight as of the 3rd day of application), I think this cream would work in the warmer months.

The fact that the primer aspect didn't allow my makeup to last all day (even though my skin showed no signs of getting oily which in itself is huge!), I didn't think it deserved higher than a 4/5 as half the purpose of the cream didn't live up to my expectations. It'll probably my go-to in the summer months when all i wear is a tinted moisturizer.

I received this free through Chick Advisor a few days ago in the mail and was very excited to try it. Silicone based primers generally break me out. My skin is odd - my face is mostly on the dry side, but my t-zone gets very oily throughout the day.

This product has a very strong smell... It doesn't smell bad but it has a very strong perfume smell to it, like a feminine aftershave or cologne. I prefer unscented or lightly scented, but am not super sensitive to it. If you are sensitive to fragrance, you might want to skip this one because it's very strong.

The texture is really nice - feels like a nice light weight moisturizer and absorbs into the skin really well with no greasy feeling. It leaves a soft and silky finish on the skin which helps makeup apply nicely. It doesn't fill pores at all so this is something to skip if you're looking for pore filling/texture smoothing. There's tapioca starch in it which I think is really interesting... I feel like that's what gives the skin such a silky soft feel. There are some silicones in it but they seem different than the typical silicone-based primer and isn't super slippery or oily-feeling. Again, my skin is on the dry side and I think I would have appreciated a more hydrating product.

My makeup stayed on pretty well throughout the day and didn't make my skin react, although it could be too early to tell. I wish it had more of a blurring effect on the skin and that the fragrance wasn't so strong.

It's not a bad product and I would recommend this to people who don't have major skin issues/texture issues that need a little something that doubles as a primer as well as a moisturizer. I plan on using the rest of it but I don't think I would purchase it myself.

I received this for free as part of the product review club. I only had 2 days to try it out so this is my initial opinion. So far I find this to be a great day moisturizer- for my dry skin I need something heavier at night. It looks like it would be wet and runny but it is light and absorbs fast. Really great to apply makeup over. For me this is a win-especially since a little goes a long way

NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Normal Skin was a great smooth base for my makeup and kept look fresh all day.

I was grateful to try this product out for free because I've been looking for a more affordable primer that would work with my sometimes-sensitive skin and this seems to be the one. The formula is really light and not oily and it dries pretty fast as your skin absorbs it so you're ready to apply make-up right after. I would recommend it to a friend and purchase this item in the future.

I was really excited to receive this moisturizing primer free in the mail from Chickadvisor, I'm always on the lookout for great primers. I have pretty dry skin so I thought this would be perfect for me. It has a nice light scent and felt very nice going on, the consistency was like a gel cream which was really nice and light and not too heavy for my skin. It took a little bit to absorb, more so than most primers I have tried. Once it did absorb though my skin felt very smooth and hydrated, I'd probably use this on days I don't wear makeup. Throughout the day my skin always felt very soft and moisturized, I sometimes get a tight feeling around my cheeks and chin by the end of the day this didn't happen with this primer. The only thing I wasn't impressed with is how shiny my T-zone got, this isn't technically a mattifying primer so I can't be too picky. I had to apply powder to my T-zone which I never have to with other primers so I probably won't be using this as my everyday primer.

I love that this is a moisturizer and primer in one. I have only used this a few times so far but I will definitely use it all. It's very light on and I think I will like it a lot.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from the NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Normal Skin, but the second I put it on, I knew it was different. It smells great; it's extremely light, and it lasts all day. My skin feels hydrated and not clogged. It works great as a primer, too. The past few days that I've been using it, my foundation has never looked so good. This product is highly recommended.

NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Normal Skin was extremely light, not sticky or oily primer that truly made my skin feel hydrated in harsh dry winter days.

I would definitely consider purchasing this product again. I love how light the primer felt, it didn't feel thick nor did it leave my skin feeling oily or sticky, which can happen with primers. Or sometimes, primer can feel like a thicker paste on your skin rather than absorbing into your skin, I didn't get that feeling putting on Nivea Moisturizing primer. It had a very faint scent of fresh linen and I found I only needed about a quarter size to fully cover my face.

The only thing I wish it had was sunscreen or SPF, which is something I often look for in my moisturizers or prior to makeup application. But it definitely alleviated the need to put on moisturizer before my primer, which is always a plus and helped my makeup go on smooth and evenly. Would certainly recommend it.

Thanks for the trial Nivea. #gotitfree

When Chickadvisor sent this to me to try, I was really excited! I'm really into skin care but very picky. I was intrigued by this b/c I've never tried a moisturizing primer before. I was surprised this didn't have that slippery silicone feel that a lot of primers have. The texture of this is more like a gel/serum but surprisingly moisturizing and worked so well under my makeup. It hasn't broken me out. I like how even though it absorbed easily into my skin, it didn't just absorb and feel dry after applying it. I also liked that it didn't feel like it was just sitting on top of my skin and not moisturizing. It really seems to do a good job as a primer for my makeup as well:)

I received the "normal skin" for free. I liked how the primer made my skin feel so soft. In the past, I found other brand's primer's just went on my skin and made it feel like my skin was being clogged. I really liked how this product made it feel like it was moisturizing while keeping my make up in place. I highly recommend this, especially during the winter time when I tend to get dry patches. #gotifree
